I would definitely prefer a dual crown, stiffer for fatties like me. More suitable for the type of riding I do, which isnt riding up switchbacks. I dont like forks spinning in a crash, dual crowns cant spin. Actually I always liked the trek knockblock headset system to prevent barspin. Keeps the cables tidier also when the bar cant turn too far.
Im likely to see if I can fit boxxers on my 2019 kenevo. I wonder if the lyrik lowers can be used with boxxer uppers so I could retain the 15mm axle to save swapping the wheel or hub..

I’ll clear this up for you.

The z1 is a fox 36 rhythm painted red. Thicker stanchion and heavier lower. Fitgrip damper with sweep style lsc up top and typical lsr below.

It’s an excellent fork. I will put my left nut on the table and say I prefer it over any fox36 fit4 version. However the grip2 stuff is better again. The best part about fitgrip is the setup time. It’s extremely easy to get a setup that simply works. For your average punter with little to no suspension tuning knowledge this is a major positive. For the fiddlers out there get a grip2.

I use a rythym on my stumpjumper Evo, have not had the slightest temptation to upgrade it. My other bikes have grip2 36’s for reference, my older bikes were fit4’s/rc2’s
I also have SJ Evo and 36 Rhythm fork. It's a stiff fork, but lack the mid-stroke and hard to get full length of suspension.

I guess no one that was working in specialized in 2007 remembers the mistake they made then. It only lasted one season.

I had that exact same bike. Liked the color. Bought it used. When I received it, I noticed that the frame near the head tube already had a big dent in it. That came from the fork hitting the frame in a crash, its obvious because the dent lined up perfectly where the rubber protector is located. I ride a lot of uphill switchbacks but think a boxxer would work. Maybe stick with single crown, the Yari on the Trek Rail 9.7 might be enough. Was thinking of the Canondale Monterra but might wait to see the new Kenevo. What do you think? Go for dual crown?

An update on Al's successes in Denmark......

Lego have given him a company van.

With the simple purchase of three magnetic letters, he's now using the van in the evenings to help promote his new freelance sex show "LEGOver".

If your mainly into climbing tight technical types of trails then I’d stay away from dual Crowns. While you can still do it it’s not as easy to manage as a single crown. I’ve been to a few different trails/parks now with my dually’s and in very tight, rocky or technical climbs it is more work. Not impossible just more work. Personally I like the more work thing as that to me is free gym.
Everywhere else I’ve barely noticed a difference. Obviously the slacker head angle changes the steering feel but it’s super stable and plows like nothing else.
For me I am predominantly an enduro, gravity rider so they suit me perfectly. I have not found them a problem at all. I was aware that due to their design that there obviously would be areas in which they would be limited but it’s no where near as bad as I thought.
Really depends on where and how you ride and what your expectations are.
From day one I’ve wanted a DH ebike, it’s what suits me perfectly but everyone is different.

It comes with 3 purple spacers, remove 2, and up your pressure to maintain midstroke.

The SD Components DVC or Diaz design Runt also play nice with this fork. Along with the Vorsprung smashpot. Done all of the above and users are very happy.

That's pretty bob on. Swap the rear shock for a deluxe. Roval DH rims. Make it also green.

Does the real one come with dust caps, the render - which looks like a selection of magazine pictures glued with pritt stick, in the style of a 1970's ransom note, doesn't have dust caps.

That's a deal breaker for me.

Just like the 2020 Levo with 2019 MOTOR. If that’s the case with the same motor, they should just wait till 2021 to release the Kenevo and sell the 2020 Levo discounted because it’s really a 2019 with different paint.

Tell that to the guys riding the new bosch motor and other 2020 motors. If the GoPro 8 Black edition when released soon is going to the same exact same as the GoPro 7 Black but just sport a different color, would you call that crap?
