Okay, this doesn't sound too good. I find it interesting that one would leave the seal out of the configuration for a motor that has big big risk of getting flooded or wet. I can't find the logic in it.

The motor was faulty and was replaced. Bosch gave -50% goodwill price so in total it was 499€ including LBS work. The LBS was once again super with all communication etc 👌 eventhough the bike was not bought from them.

Rather use "Heat Shrink Solder Sleeve Crimpless Butt Connectors / 26-10 AWG / Electriduct". The yellow AMP Superseal style connectors are mainly shit because lack of right crimping tool.
