Have used it for my DH bike and it's very good. It's a 2 piece stand and parts are tight together with one 6 or 8mm hex. Just glued the bolt with threadlock as it happens to get a little loose. I would guess it can hold an ebike but the structure could be better. You can always weld it even...
I found the Bosch cover and it doesn't have the white seal attached. I don't believe that the seal would have gotten away at the same time. It looks like there never was a seal at all.
The good news (kind of): for as yet unknown reason the Purion doesn't give me anymore error after turning it...
It seems that now the motor died finally. It gives the ERROR 500 immediately after switching the power on. Couple of days ago it still managed to work mostly.
I wonder if it's possible to buy US model and configure it to my Trek in Europe
Okay, this doesn't sound too good.
I find it interesting that one would leave the seal out of the configuration for a motor that has big big risk of getting flooded or wet. I can't find the logic in it.
I would like to double check that should all Bosch CX Gen 4 motors have a white seal under the Bosch emblem? I got a new replacement motor from Bosch last summer. At some point the Bosch emblem got lost during the ride and back home I noticed there's no seal at all.
I'm a little afraid that the...
I've had zero issues with NX-cassette during the last 5000km and maybe 5 cassettes(?). If you're able to tune the upper and lower limit correct it shouldn't' matter what material the spacers are.. All the spacer are same size. Maybe it's possible to lose on spacer but I guess the cassette...
I don't understand how cushcore would affect on tire durability.
Most problems when installing cushcores that you don't watch the installation video and don't drop the bead correctly.
Maxxis and not using levers sound a little internet rumour.
From Pinkbike article:
https://www.pinkbike.com/news/first-ride-srams-new-powertrain-motor.html
- the motor hardware is manufactured by Brose, and then SRAM handles the software
- there wasn't any way to turn the assistance completely off from the remote.
- but the fact that there's currently...
The idea is to extend derestictor's wires so that it could be installed above the motor in seat tube. Currently it's so tightly packed between the motor and rockguard and the wires are exposed on the rockguard holes. The wires have already scratches.
Another or default option would be using...
The motor was faulty and was replaced. Bosch gave -50% goodwill price so in total it was 499€ including LBS work. The LBS was once again super with all communication etc 👌 eventhough the bike was not bought from them.
Really? :ROFLMAO:
I did that for myself. Easily.
Even the idea that I would first buy an expensive emtb and then ride against the 25kmh limit in the forest meanwhile in some other country the very same limitation was 32kmh. That was too much.
At the same time I can fully understand why...
Rather use "Heat Shrink Solder Sleeve Crimpless Butt Connectors / 26-10 AWG / Electriduct". The yellow AMP Superseal style connectors are mainly shit because lack of right crimping tool.
Got new Purion but the end result is the same: Pressing POWER-button in Purion puts lights on in the battery but Purion stays dead and there's no sound from motor.
To the LBS and story continues..
I made this thread to document my problem so that anyone else having the same issue can see what solved it.
I bought aldready a new Purion and it should arrive next week. The battery was resetted but as the symptons are same with another battery it means that battery is ok. I didn't took the...
