my LBS already done 9.7 with X01 Transmission running original CR with no issues. Meshes with the T type chain smoothly. Im not on a EXE currently but on a Gen 2 SL, and im also running Transmission using the ori CR and crank arm. (sold my X01 crank to GX owner)
No issues over 2 months of...
Had the praxis on my Gen 1, but they dont make for Gen 2 (yet). The Specialized carbon cranks are ridiculously expensive, any other options available??
thanks for this. Im a SL 1.0 owner, with deposit on a EXE 9.8. but after watiing for several months (distributor screwed up) im on the verge of getting a SL 2.0. Im a 175cm rider and i feel the same as you, truly comfortable on the S3 SL 2.0, while the L 1.0 felt a smidge cramped.
No SL motor...
As per the title, thinking of buying a ebike from australia as the bike im interested in is not availble in my country. But is it possible to fly out the battery? cos a 700wh battery cannot be taken on board passenger plane.
As per title. Cos i have a levo currently and have gone trips without the main battery, and just use the levo as a normal bike. A fren recently bought a EXE and says with the battery out, there is nowhere to screw back the motor.
went from levo to SL, no it doesnt bother me at all, 2.5 years later, i just sold it this week. Getting a Fuel EXE..which is completely silent if thats what you are looking for
Thats not true. owner of 2 levo FF and currently on a SL. the Levo FF motors are unreliable as hell, personally went tru 2 motor warranties and 1 battery. all 5 of my group which got FF levo back in 2018 has had their motor warrantied.
The SL on the other hand.... flawless motor. in 2 years...
No argument that the geo is dated. But my 2020 SL with a Fox 38 upfront and a TTX22m coil at the back...its decent. Decent enuff that im happy riding it till my LBS gets the Fuel EXE in stock
personally as someone who owns both FF and SL ebikes, i feel new bikers should always start off with a SL. I fee starting off straight with FF gives you alot of bad habits and you rely too much on the motor, to get you over obstacles etc.
Dont worry about the power of the EXE, its more than...
when i first take the SL out of my car, i leave it off..and i climb up to the first trailhead without assist. cos after you turn it on...you really feel the lack of assist if you turn off. 😅
my entire group went from FF Levo to SL and none will ever go back to FF. Handles better, better workout and best of all, you can ride comfortably with normal bikes on a SL.
With a FF...its a pain in the ass trying to keep cadence with manual riders.
My first levo was a 2018 sworks , then a...
