I questioned Sarah about the available finishes on the bike, but she wasn't able to answer my question with a reasonable level of confidence, so i'll ask it here.
Regarding the £400 upgrade to an Anodised Finish, does anyone know if this is a Hard Anodised Finish or the less hard wearing...
Hi Rob,
I've contacted Nicolai twice now regarding ordering a frame-set and haven't had a lot on information come back. Would you be able to advise on the best way to place my order, as you have now done so yourself?
Nicolai had a meeting with Paul at Geometron last week about the possibility of them importing the bikes. As far as mailing from Germany goes, take 19% VAT off the listed price, add around £90 for delivery an d then add 6% import duty and 20% VAT and you'll be about right.
I'm surprised no-one's replied to this one.
The 160E is basically a Process with a motor. When it was launched it was a great bike for the money, especially at the discounted prices. However, with the fast paced progress of development in E-MTB's, the old E-8000 Motor's now obsolete, the 504wh...
OK, i've read through the thread and i'm going to continue riding analogue. The cramped cockpit, due to the too steep SA, is a no for me and the sticking plaster solutions of ramming your seat back or using an adapter will only add premature wear to the dropper. It's also increasing the...
It's not just SC.
I'm tall, so am limited by the geo that I need to fit a particular bike. I ordered the Bullit in early '21 and cancelled it a couple of months back. I understand the issues behind this, but the lack of openness and information regarding supply dates has been piss poor.
Since...
Add on 20% VAT and then the exorbitant UK Customs Handling Fee and you start to come close to Start Fitness' price, once you take into account their extra 10% off.
Don't waste your money, Start Fitness have the new Hope Tech 4's for £350, but you then put EXTRA10 at Checkout and they can't be beaten. Check out Guy Kestevan's review on Bike Perfect if you don't believe me. I also got some new Charger 3 Zeb's at a phenomenal price using the same code!
I've since had the chance to look at Spesh's own warranty bumph and it mentions assisted replacement on the motor and battery, so I think the chap I met may have been referring to that.
Hi All,
I was just up in Wales and out for a ride near Cader Idris, where I met a chap riding a new Levo. On chatting, he informed me that he had a deal whereby he could have his motor and battery replaced every two years for around £500. Yup, i'm pretty certain I did hear him correctly, but...
Thanks for your input on the Mavic wheels, are they the E-Deemax? I've got two sets waiting to go on my next bike, but he Loam Wolf tested them on a Mondraker recently and weren't overly impressed.
Blimey, not only do we have range anxiety with e-bikes, we now have weight worries too.
Take a lightish, analogue, All Mountain/Enduro bike like the SC Hightower/Megatower running around 14-15kg's and then look at their e-bike equivalents at 24-25kg's, that's a 10kg difference.
Now lets take a...
It would appear to be the achille's heel of the frame design and has been commented on by most, if not all, of the bike journo's. If a Heckler/Bullit is what you really want to ride, then the best you can do is find the longest dropper with the shortest insert length. The OneUp V2 and PNW Loam...
I spoke with my LBS a couple of weeks ago about availability on my Bullit and/or a Heckler and it was pretty much a case of it'll turn up when it turns up. His personal viewpoint was that the lack of any real concrete commitment to supply dates from SC and their Distributor left him with the...
