Levo Gen 3 Motor/Battery Question.

Hi All,

I was just up in Wales and out for a ride near Cader Idris, where I met a chap riding a new Levo. On chatting, he informed me that he had a deal whereby he could have his motor and battery replaced every two years for around £500. Yup, i'm pretty certain I did hear him correctly, but that's what he said.
I would ask if anyone else has heard of this or would this be something he's managed to sort with his LBS?

I suppose an unscrupulous LBS could make a warranty claim for each, just under the 2 year mark and charge the client $500 for the 'service'.

No never heard of this either, you have a great warranty process with specialized so I'd definitely not be paying a LBS to change out components when they don't need changed out , the motor and battery will probably be perfectly fine after two years anyway

I've since had the chance to look at Spesh's own warranty bumph and it mentions assisted replacement on the motor and battery, so I think the chap I met may have been referring to that.
