I am currently in the process of returning my Vitus E-Mythique due to a non start issue, as they cannot replace the bike CRC are issuing a refund.

Given the current situation at CRC along with my experience I am reluctant to make another purchase with them.

I have a budget of £3000 and have come across this tonight

Has anyone had experience of this bike or at least the motor/battery combination fitted?

It seems a deal to me but I would be interested what everyone’s thoughts would be?

I'm surprised no-one's replied to this one.
The 160E is basically a Process with a motor. When it was launched it was a great bike for the money, especially at the discounted prices. However, with the fast paced progress of development in E-MTB's, the old E-8000 Motor's now obsolete, the 504wh battery is too small, as you can't add a range extender and, basically, the bike is already old hat.

Battery is fine for the motor given its 60nm. Bike is a good bike for that kind of money (when it was listed at £2999 and all sizes were available)- Kona aluminium frames are bombproof. Now it's gone up in price I'd be buying something else as its not worth more than the £2999.

The fork isn't great but its a fork fitted to many more expensive bikes around the 3 to 4.5k mark.

Main question marks are around motor reliability. You would be dealing with Shimano / Madison rather than Kona or Winstanley though so it's no different to any other Shimano motor in that respect.
