Welcome to the forum, and the Rail gang :)
Are those DMR V12's ? Had them on my Fuel and got another pair for my Rail. Rip your shins to shreds but I won't have anything else.
Welcome to the forum!!
It should be very easy to find something less than 85 lbs, not too sure on much choice north of 1'000 watts tho.
Amflow PL Carbon for example, 800 watts, 105 nm torque and less than 45 lbs ?
Others will have other suggestions 😊🤟
Welcome to the forum - great source of useful information.
I'm 6'8 and unfortunately 225lbs, and that's before the mince pies come out for Christmas!!
FWIW I'm currently on an XL Trek Rail 7 Gen 3. The only adjustment I made was to slide the seat back an inch, and recently increased the rise...
Recommended for 29 x 2.4/2.6 is ~90/95ml from what I've found.
300ml is basically like a can of cokes worth sloshing around
Also, losing air after a week sat still? That would soon start to annoy me :ROFLMAO:
The bright blue Bontrager stuff seems decent. I've only just switched to a tubeless bike in the last few months. Was checking it over after a ride the other week found a huge thorne in the back. So as I was at home, it felt like the perfect place to "practice having a puncture" - so to speak...
I've been MTB'ing north of 30 years on all sorts of bikes - GT LTS 3 anyone?! Those were the days. Been in races and at events more recently, on my previous bike which was (and still is) a very capable Trek Fuel. I love that bike, and any time I saw someone on an emtb I always thought...
Welcome to the site indeed! I'm also fairly new on here, like me you'll pick up all sorts - right place to come (y)
Whichever you eventually get, you'll always be going quicker than you think you are on an emtb, so as said, decent protection is a given - especially for the 'brain can' up top! :)
Got some new winter gloves 🤓
My sealskinz are about 5 years old and getting a bit worn, so have gone for some Galibier 'Barrier Deep Winter' - get some decent reviews from what Ive read, will be testing them next weekend
I nearly pulled the trigger on 300, then the 400 was released - I've been mulling over whether to make the purchase. I like the idea its protected behind the bars. I have the LED remote currently.
How are you finding it? Display big enough to read clearly etc? Any issues with firmware/flow...
Not that I can answer your question, but I completely agree with picking red as the contrasting colour with the dark prismatic - Ive done the same with the bottle cage and will also be following suit with other mods (excuse the dirty bike post ride) 🤟
My stock ones were 15mm rise, and chose to get 40mm, so effectively an inch higher in old miney.
They are 760mm long as opposed to the 780mm of stock, but I'm not missing the cm either side.
This week was Fatbar Lites.
More than twice the rise, half the weight of the stock bars (not I care much on a Rail 😂) and £75
First test ride out this morning, much better on the posture 👌
The Cateye ViZ 100 is what Ive got, fits most bikes as well as my Rail. Rechargeable, different modes and the battery seems to last forever between recharges. Comes with a stretchable rubber mount to fit round seat tube, ive got my dropper post extended so its just mounted there, either...
