I’ve been using PDW Kepler tail light.

First one started acting up - one led went bad - and PDW replaced it. Now the second one suddenly went from bright to barely working. I’ll contact them and see what they say, but if they don’t replace it I’ll be loo looking for something else … any recommendations?

When I use a tail light on my Rail I attach it to the seat post. The Bontrager tail light is rechargeable using a mini-USB. I believe there are 4 modes, off, strobe, flash and always on.

The position of the rear fender or wheel can obscure the light while riding in traffic. If I rode in traffic, or used my bike to commute, I would consider a helmet with integrated taillights.

While I have a wired tail light on my Rail, for my other eMTB I opted for a cheap usb-c tail light that mounts onto the rails on the saddle. Auto-on/off with brake light feature. $10.

I’m happy with my head light - same one on both bikes, reasonably priced.

Have rechargeable Cateye Viz 150 attached to our saddles. Don't ride in the dark, and only switched on when on public roads so that if a muppet runs into us they can't plead SMIDSY.

The Cateye ViZ 100 is what Ive got, fits most bikes as well as my Rail. Rechargeable, different modes and the battery seems to last forever between recharges. Comes with a stretchable rubber mount to fit round seat tube, ive got my dropper post extended so its just mounted there, either horizontally or vertically. Puts up will with mud and crap, would recommend, had it a fair while on mever missed a beat 👍
