I have the issue.
There is no play you can feel with your hand, but if I compress the shock a bunch of times and then apply side pressure on the shock/piggyback there is a "knack/creak" sound coming out from it.
I torqed the top bolts to 17 and the lower bolt to 15 and it still happens
Hey guys
Whats the verdict about the creaking bushings for the Fox Float X shock?
Should I order from Offsetbushings.com | The Finest MTB Shock Bushings or the Fox ones?
Which are better quality? Does it even matter?
Just wanted to post an update that I ended up getting the Medium after trying both several times.
For me it feels like the perfect size. The moment I sat on the Medium I knew this is the size for me.
I've installed the 190mm dropper post and will probably increase the travel all the way to 200...
I always have that problem with medium frames, thats why I have a OneUp dropper post that I keep with 190 travel that I can adjust according to the buy.
How does the medium feel for you?
I personally prefer shorter more responsive bikes vs long freight trains.
Hey guys
I'm 1.78m, which according to Trek puts me on the L.
I did a quick ride at the shop on the size L and it certainly feels much longer than all my other bikes.
The guys at the shop claim that I'm definitely a L, but I'm worried it will be like that one time I bought a Large Transition...
Hey guys
I have a Gen2 now, and honestly I'm quite happy with it. I was considering to replace it for Gen3 our of the fear that it will lose too much value once the warranty expires (there is 1 more year left).
However seeing how 2nd hand bike prices are dropping quite significantly at our local...
Hey
The rear shock on my levo developed a slight play. If I pull the bike upward by top tube I can feel a slight play in the shock with my fingers. Like 1mm movement.
This is definitely not bushings because its coming from inside the shock.
It started few weeks ago, at first I thought my headset...
I weight about the same as you and I've tried both coil shock (Fox DHX2) and rockshox with megneg.
For me the air shock feels much better, it gives more progressive feel to the bike and makes more poppy and playful.
You need to decide if you want a tank that rolls over everything (coil shock) or...
These guys are developing a progressive link for the levo.. already have one for Levo LT and Stumpjumper.
I spoke to them they told me one for levo should be coming out soon.

So I've had DHX2 on my Levo for about 2-3 months and had some mixed feelings about it.
Unfortunately the eyelet on the DHX2 cracked and I went back to the original shock.
After playing with the settings abit I must say I like the responsiveness of the air shock better than the coil shock.
Sure...
Why do you care so much what others think about ebikes? Especially some people you don't even know on the internet.
I dont understand why ebikers have the need to tell everybody how much fun they are having. The whole thing starts sounding like an advertisement.
I don't know how it works in...
Diameter is 30.9.
On my medium frame I need the post to be 240mm outside the frame. So with 170mm post its still not all the way inside the frame.
You need to measure your current post and do the calculations. Oneup have a measuring guide to figure out which post you can fit
i recommend oneup dropper post. they are cheap and work very well.
ive got the 170mm one on my medium frame. its worth checking if it would work for you with large frame
