Yamaha is THE Leader by the millions!

What is a bit strange is why the other Japanese moto companies are not making MTBs/EMTBs , Honda had a go 10 years ago but gave up, even when the Yamaha dual suspension BMX came out , Kawasaki and Suzuki came out with their own[I had the Suzuki:ROFLMAO:].

    Rise 25 creaky headset

Also, replace the star nut regularly , its a 3 piece item that may appear to be working perfectly, but , the 2 claws can work loose and the shaft bit can also become loose and or flex but still function ,[ i recently bought the tool and some starnuts[few $] and replaced one[for no reason] and...

    All New 2023 Orbea Wild

I wonder if the manufacturers ever think about the weight of paint? pretty much every part on a bike is either painted, stickered or anodized , maybe up to a kg of paint, obviously mild steel and CF needs paint , but the rest?

    Long Trousers Short Leg

I wear US army issue trousers , they have a cord around the ankle part , which i replaced with elastic cord , so they just stay at the ankle, you can even pull them up as shorts , and they have about 10 pockets , 2 at the knee area so can stick some foam in there for knee protection .

Levo Gen 3 Creaking coming from somewhere around the motor.

If its the rattle noise ? it sounds more like a worn cog or something not meshing in the motor, hard to tell .

    Risk of battery fire?

Not a emtb battery, but had a rechargeable light with lithium batteries bust into fire, reason was heat , left in the sun on a 40C degree day on charge , any surface left in the sun would be untouchable in few minutes.[the pic and story just popped up on the news , apparently the fire brigade is...

    Rise 25 creaky headset

Not read all the posts, but sometimes the glue [yes glue] deteriorates in the forks[where the fork tubes go into the brace part] , creating similar creaking sound, just watched a youtube on it, need to be pressed out and reglued apparently.

    Levo Gen 3 Hot charger

I think having a desk fan or any fan blowing air on the charger when charging , they do get hot ,which can do some internal self inflicted damage.

Levo Gen 3 Help installing GX t-type transmission.

I usually superglue the chainring nuts to the new chainring , just a drop on the edge to hold them on, let it dry , then install , makes it easier .

    20mm to 15mm axle /fork conversion .

Chinese wheel so it would be Bucklos , i think there is only one hub that has a bore big enough to accept the larger spacers , only answer is a wheel or 20mm hub, new/different length spokes , either way very expensive exercise .

    20mm to 15mm axle /fork conversion .

Apparently "not possible", but if it is? where to get the spacers[15mm to 20mm] ???

    20mm to 15mm axle /fork conversion .

    Yes , both.

    20mm to 15mm axle /fork conversion .

Yes , the tube just slides into a 20mm hub=no use at all , and the inserts are for the screw on axel .

    20mm to 15mm axle /fork conversion .

Has anyone converted the forks from a 20mm axle hole to 15mm? , im wanting to use the 15mm boost quick release axle[not screw in axle, i know there is a kit for that], these are obviously DH forks which use 20mm axle .

Comment by 'ari' in article 'Shimano EP801 and Bosch CX Race - drivetrain killers?'

Yes , but in racing situations you are banging gears like crazy , no time to think ahead with gear changes, but obviously need to costing a lot of time , thats where the derailuer system shows the weaknesses on ebikes .
