Could be a stronger/beefier case , i put a battery recently on top a wheelie bin , it just slid off onto concrete , i thought it was damaged, but thank goodness it wasnt.
Im waiting for this , nothing really out there to look forward to apart from the ZF , as said , oil path so could last for decades , if no oil coming out no water going in.
I wonder if the manufacturers ever think about the weight of paint? pretty much every part on a bike is either painted, stickered or anodized , maybe up to a kg of paint, obviously mild steel and CF needs paint , but the rest?
I wear US army issue trousers , they have a cord around the ankle part , which i replaced with elastic cord , so they just stay at the ankle, you can even pull them up as shorts , and they have about 10 pockets , 2 at the knee area so can stick some foam in there for knee protection .
Not a emtb battery, but had a rechargeable light with lithium batteries bust into fire, reason was heat , left in the sun on a 40C degree day on charge , any surface left in the sun would be untouchable in few minutes.[the pic and story just popped up on the news , apparently the fire brigade is...
Not read all the posts, but sometimes the glue [yes glue] deteriorates in the forks[where the fork tubes go into the brace part] , creating similar creaking sound, just watched a youtube on it, need to be pressed out and reglued apparently.
Chinese wheel so it would be Bucklos , i think there is only one hub that has a bore big enough to accept the larger spacers , only answer is a wheel or 20mm hub, new/different length spokes , either way very expensive exercise .
Has anyone converted the forks from a 20mm axle hole to 15mm? , im wanting to use the 15mm boost quick release axle[not screw in axle, i know there is a kit for that], these are obviously DH forks which use 20mm axle .
Yes , but in racing situations you are banging gears like crazy , no time to think ahead with gear changes, but obviously need to costing a lot of time , thats where the derailuer system shows the weaknesses on ebikes .
I snap off the derailuer's if applying power in a high gear, sometimes chains], [110nm torque] , i just avoid the top gear and ride low to middle gears, thats enought to beat $15000 bikes:D
