Hadn't considered the limitations of USB PD connectors, surely they "shouldn't" wear out too easily but I can see how they might.
Either way, we need something neater than carrying a bulky adaptor and we need the chargers to be cheap enough that...
What the hell is wrong with these people? No one wants to carry a stupid adaptor cable around, especially not one that big. And most Cafe's, Restaurants and Hotels etc aren't going to want to shell out the money to install chargers for this (except maybe in very popular ebike destinations)...
Maybe try the squirt liquid wax, that has worked really well for me. You get a lot of the advantages of melt wax (clean and long chain life) but with the simplicity of reapplying as necessary.
I now do melt wax and top up with liquid after every wet ride and wash.
I do like the look of this but need more info. Weight, Geometry, Price etc. Being limited to a 34t ring only is kind of limiting, but really like the built in ISCG mounts so you can at least make a simple guard.

Thanks for clarifying that the battery and charger were (by the sounds of it very) well looked after. Given this extra information I think you are being treated pretty badly. We already pay a ludicrous price for batteries, often well over $1000/kWh when the cell retail price is typically under...
I hope they get back to you soon. The charger really should last longer than 3-4 years especially as it sounds like you haven't used it that much. (though IF (?) the charger has lived in a cold wet Scottish shed that entire time that might go some way to explain it)

I do use Candle Wax, mixed with a little bees wax and complimented by "top-ups" with Squirt EMTB drip wax. Seems pretty good. I usually crash and bend the teeth on the cassette before it actually wears out, whereas with oil I wore them out first.
Those look interesting but isn't there a leakage path through the thread where the first section of the valve stem screws through the rim into the "nut" inside the rim?
Also, what happens if the thread between the first and second part of the valve stem seizes up slightly? Isn't there a risk you...
I too am far more interested in efficiency (range) than peak power. With this in mind, it would be great if one of these bike testers did all their tests with a powermeter rear hub. This would allow a simple absolute percentage efficiency that was reasonably accurate.

I wasn't saying it will be unreliable. Just that we don't know how reliable it will be. Bosch is an even bigger company with wider experience and still has taken (is taking) a long time and a lot of iterations to become reliable.

Although the spec's are good, I don't see a lot of reason to assume that they will be super reliable. Drones are a very different application for electric motors and electronics to bikes. Although the drones are tough, they only fly for what 20 minutes at a time and then hopefully land smoothly...
Now the videos are out it looks like the seat post can go a fair way beyond the suspension pivot and the kink, so may be OK.
original Levo SL isn't that bad if you use a shim and choose the right post, I'm 173cm and get a 200mm Wolf tooth in a Medium.
Shouldn't be hard for any ebike to calibrate itself and work out what gear you are in without it needing to be electronic. Knows your crank cadence and wheel speed so easy to work out from just that.
