Good to know,I've got the new latch, but haven't fitted it yet, thought I'd wait till the old one snaps, but I've put slapper tape on the inside of the downtube either side of the battery opposite sides of the latch so the battery is very snug, doesn't move at all laterally which I think has...
I have the same bike as you with the race motor & it's been fine,I've done 600 miles & the only issue I've had is the same as almost everyone else, the battery latch problem, which seems unsolved presently.
Mines going in for a service in the next couple of weeks & the mechanic there is going to...
Yeah I wanted playfulness/maneuverability & knew the large would of been less so.
Plus I had an Orbea Rise which felt horrible when I jumped back on it after riding the Bronson(2022 mullet) so I knew I wanted something similar geometry wise & a mullet, which I thought was another gimmick before I...
I'm 6ft & went with the Medium, glad I did,the numbers are very similar to my Large Bronson so switching between the 2 of them isn't to noticeable, apart from the battery, motor & weight difference 😅
I'm bang on 6ft & went with the medium, fits like a glove, for me the large would definitely of been to big,& with an emtb being heavier i Didn’t want it to feel to big as well.
I'm coming from a slightly different point of view as mine has a zeb up front & rockshox at the back, but I've found very little issues with my set up,it's certainly a very plush ride, way more planted & forgiving than either the Rise or Bronson.
I'm running 30% in the shock most rides,I'm 80kgs...
Ha ha,it looks worse/better than it is,although that is about £32k worth in that picture.
The Strive & the Gold Bronson are mine,& the grey Bronson is my wife's,plus I have donated my Orbea rise to her after the Strive arrived,so technically 2 each, plus she has a road bike
She was adamant she...
Mine just about clears the shock, but it's close.
Must admit I was surprised how basic it was when it arrived, but it does the job & looks better than most I've seen,it's a relatively clean aesthetic.
You should try the Granite Rt stash multi tool, got one on my Bronson & it's very good,no need to tap the steerer, quick & easy to fit.
Also have their tyre plug & worm tool in both bikes, fits in the end of your handlebar & your grip fits over the top, very neat solution.
I know, don't ever use it as a lube, just didn't have the time to strip, clean & re grease every possible bolt & contact point,I'm fairly sure it was the seatpost though,as you suggested.
Thanks mate, my creak seems like it was the seat post, gave it a good dose of grease & no more noise, although I did Wd40 the crap out of anything else that might of been responsible,so time will tell.
Mine did it,third ride in,after about 100m,so I removed the battery then set off again, same thing happened, so I removed the battery again & when I reconnected it I realised that I wasn't fully pushing the latch as far as it would go,so as soon as I rode off the battery was moving &...
