I was in the same dilemma when ordering, like you whatever I buy I'm likely to add bits,& that certainly would of been the case if I'd ordered the Cfr,probably the same sort of spend eventually.
In the end I looked at the Ltd & couldn't see much I replace, plus I much prefer the look of it,also...
Sounds like a happy customer, nice to hear that all the reviews so far are the same & all saying what a great bike it is.
That should get rid of my buyers remorse😅
Although I've managed to off set it mostly by giving the wife my Orbea rise, she won't want too many details on the Strive now.😇🤫
Yeah,I thought it was the older model, have you fitted a cascade link to it ?
Tempted to get the one for my Bronson as it allows for 170/180mm of travel with a 65mm stroke shock.
I'm interested to hear your opinion on the Strive vs Heckler, I was about to buy a new Heckler when Canyon dropped the Strive,it took me a week to finally jump ship & go for the Strive instead.
Yeah, seems like a genuine enthusiast,I like his videos.
I reckon Rob should go out there to do a Pommy vs Aussie emtb challenge, would make a great few videos,I'm sure Rob would like a week in Spain
Pulled the pin, just ordered a Strive Cfr Ltd size medium, delivery dates quoted are June 5th to 16th to the UK,so maybe a bit quicker than stated on the website.
Seriously considering the Strive on now,I've been hovering over a Santa Cruz Heckler for weeks as I have an Bronson & it's a great bike that suits me perfectly, so as the Heckler is essentially the same bike with a motor it makes sense......but the Strive is a better bike by the look of it &...
That's good, glad you sold it so quickly.
Interesting that it only weighs 0.2kgs more than the 252wh version, with an extra 108wh capacity.
Makes you wonder why orbea don't make a bigger capacity version.
Didn't know there were any aftermarket battery's available for the Rise, very interesting.
How will that affect the warranty?
What is the weight difference between the official orbea range extender & this one?
I weigh about 168lbs without kit so probably around the 172lbs kitted up,I haven't changed the discs yet,& they work fine on my local trails, but I am planning on a 203mm for the front as I think I'll need it for the faster descents in the dry weather & the odd trip to Bike park Wales & other...
Yeah,it's nice to read it as well, sometimes you think you might be a bit to biased as you've just dropped a load of cash on it,so it's good to see that the opinions are all similar elsewhere.
Now I've done a few hundred kms on mine I'm very happy with my choice, it's actually much better than I...
I was indeed interested ,nice one.
Not a huge difference then, let's just hope they stay attached to the bike.
It'll be interesting to see how the blame game plays out,Shimano vs E thirteen,if I was a betting man I'd put my money on E thirteen being in the wrong.
Yeah, new shimano EM900 cranks swapped for the E thirteen alloy ones that came on the bike with the letter apologising for the fact they were not the carbon versions that the bike is specced with.
I emailed Orbea after I'd had the bike a couple of weeks to ask what the procedure was to get the...
I'm sat waiting for mine to be replaced now, outside my nearest Orbea dealer,as I bought the bike from Sigma Sports in the UK & it was way to far to go get some cranks swapped over, even this place is over an hour away.
I had to do all the leg work after receiving the letter with the bike telling...
