As far as I know there aren't many cranks that fit our bikes at the moment,I've only read about the E thirteen cranks, both alloy & carbon,or the Shimano EM900.
I'm sure there will be more on the market soon, especially as the E thirteen cranks don't seem fit for purpose.
From my attempts to get the rs toolbox synced I wouldn't bother, wasted probably a good combined hour on 3 occasions setting it up,first was unsuccessful, second worked, but then when I actually wanted to use it on a ride it didn't work,so uninstall & tried again, same result as the first time.
So...
Feels great,i suppose as they do make them with either 140mm or 150mm forks, it should feel good with either.
As for a direct comparison I couldn't say as I've never ridden it on the 140mm fork.
Gotta say I've never enjoyed a new bike as much as the Rise, its a proper weapon, its exceeded my...
I swaped out the 140mm factory 34's on mine for a Lyrik ultimate 150mm,only 3 rides in but I've found the Lyrik to be a great fork, they even feel much better than the pair of Fox 36 factory I have on my Bronson.
Bought mine with the bike from Sigma Sports, not sure if they have any left, they were...
Ive put a Minion dhf up front, I couldn't get hold of a magic Mary which is my usual front tyre of choice, either of those wil be preferable to the Dissector in my opinion, especially somewhere like Bpw.
Yeah,I'm hearing that a lot, definitely gonna swap them over.
Bike arrived today, new tyres should be here for the weekend,so I'll get them on for the first ride, after the anger inducing pantomime that is applying Invisiframe frame protection .
Yep,I know what you mean,I've already viewed the videos on running a mullet set up with 160mm coil & Fork, but I'll wait to see how I get on with the standard set up,all be it with a fork swap for a Lyrik.
Yeah,I get that impression from a lot of online advice,it's a great resource, but also needs to be taken with a pinch of salt from time to time.
Thanks for the replies chaps, much appreciated, I've ordered the new tyres, but I'll ride the Rekons for a bit,see how I get on.
Probably be other things...
Yeah, that's the way I was thinking, I've found a maxxis minion dhf online, can't find a magic Mary in the size & compound I want,& then run a hans damph on the rear, that'll do year round, but I'll run the reckons in the summer & see if they're up to the task.
Thanks Rich,I'm leaning towards replacing them straight away, especially as I'm in the UK which is crap conditions this time of year, might chuck them back on in the summer.
How are you enjoying the Rise?
Nice looking bike,as stated above its the correct choice, wise decision.
Let me know how you get on with the tyres,I've ordered my Rise & I'm trying to decide on if I keep them or replace straight away, as the reckons are not the greatest tyres, especially here in the winter, although your in...
I've read a lot of negative reviews on the oem tyres that come on the M ltd.
So my question is should I ditch them before I turn the cranks for the first time,or ride them until I wreck them, then replace?
For reference my preferred set up is usually magic Mary front & hans damph out back.
So the update is that it was a glitch on their system, they've now found the listing.
Thanks for the replies confirming it,much appreciated.
Sigma have agreed to honour the price as well,so it was definitely worth asking:unsure:
Squeaky Wheel that gets the grease,so the saying goes.
So big...
If you don't ask & you don't get.
I wasn't expecting much,it was the fact that they couldn't find any record of it ever being discounted, and seemed to think I was making it up,even when I had the evidence of this thread to back it up.
Hi guys,new member here.
I've just had an interesting chat with a member of staff from Sigma sports.
I had a discounted M ltd in my basket at the price of £8099,was in there for about a week, went back into it today to purchase & the price had gone back to £8999.
So I used their messaging service...
