I had the Ohlins DH38 @200mm on mine for a while, I couldn’t get it to work for my conditions. It was super harsh no matter what I did. I ended up putting the RFX38 m.2 back on and love it. I think if I would have had the DH38 revalved to the RFX specs it would have been great, but I’m not that...
True, but for $20 who cares. I keep some extras in the truck and at home. Braking performance is great, silent, and doesn’t prematurely wear your rotors. I’d rather replace them often and enjoy good, quiet brakes.
I’ve owned the new Trek Rail 9.8 with the standard CX Bosch and currently own a Crestline. Crestline all the way hands down. My Trek had crap paint that chipped if you looked at it. Plus many other quality control issues. The Crestline is far superior in every way. Plus it’s an absolute missile...
I’ve owned a handful of e-bikes in the past, I gotta say this is the best bike I’ve owned.
Just put on an Ohlins DH38 m.2 fork this last weekend, holly crap…so nice!
It’ll take a bit of tuning for my weight and riding, but damn it rips the descents. I think the extra weight on the front...
I spoke with Crestline yesterday and was really happy with their customer service and knowledge. Additionally the guys at Worldwide Cyclery (Crestline Distributor) were also very helpful.
I’m in the same boat…Pole or Crestline. Kinda concerned about brake jack from the vpp design of the Crestline and how long the company will be around…it’s pretty new
My concerns with the Pole are the weight, long term durability of the adhesive holding the frame together, handling with that...
I weigh 250lbs, riding in boost almost full time, 2.6 magic marry front, 2.6 eddy current rear, Cush core rear. Climbing is fire road up, single track down...laps
Im definitely not a strong peddler, your results may very.
I do know, having a 900 on big days is a great piece of mind.
I think 1800m out of a 720 is a lot to ask..I guess it depends on your fitness level and riding in lower power modes. I'd recommend the 900 and not worry about battery anxiety.
I don't get that much with my 900 in a Norco range VLT, but I'm in boost 90% of the time.
Yeah, everything is maxed using the app
Just going to sell it and get another Bosch or Brose powered bike. Win some loose some, this was an expensive learning curve.
Bosch all day…everyday
Hands down destroys the ep8 in every way. Having had 2 Bosch bikes and and 2 ep8 bikes, the Bosch provides much more power with less effort. I currently have a ep8 bike and regret purchasing it every day I ride it.
If you’re a strong peddler, it makes less of a...
