I very rarely wash my bike, other than a quick hose off to remove the big bits, I then use GT85 and a cloth, leave it for a day or so, then apply fresh motor oil. I've been through the religious clean/dry/lub routine and it made little difference and took more time. What's more my wheel...
I started MTB again on an emtb in 2020, there was no way I'd have started again with an acoustic bike, I was riding with my dad a lot doing 50km+ rides with 1500m of climbing, to get the range I had to use eco with bits of tour.
After 6000miles of mountain biking over the last 3 years I still...
I use eco most of the time, tour is too much most of the time and I like long trail rides.
On flat easy going I also switch the assist off, that makes a huge difference to range, which leaves more for tour up steep climbs

For the price I've found the Halfords advance toolbox to be good, I also use a lot of Halfords advance tool with a few Teng and other well known named bits n bobs.
Ohh dear. I suggest you try using one, by the time you've broken every cutter, crashed the machine and wrecked all the stock you may have an appreciation for the machinists who operate them, and the designers who create the files.
I alway love it when someone says to me "The computer does it" I...
