Hi legends,
I'm planning a last-minute day tour in the Pyrenees with a mate, coming from Bordeaux.
With one full day, we will stay local the night before, and a couple of batteries each where would you recommend we go? Somewhere with a lot of altitude and miles is good for us.
Cheers,
clearly more aggressive hard tails coming out, that vitus is well priced! But Chain Reaction has gone under right?
It has a 65’ head tube angle, but why so heavy? 23.5kgs tubless, no idea at what size.
The Mondraker Prime I have is about 20kgs in a large. With 625wh battery.
Nice! some good geometry but what is going on with that chain stay!? looks like a modern chain tensioner, I didn't see it being marketed as having variable chainstay length. I bet all those links make it flex. Kona have been around so they know what they are doing.
If you don’t want to take it to a shop file the new bracket down.
Place it on a flat file and do both sides at once. It is aluminium so it is very easy to do gradually and evenly.
Well the derailleur max (51T) matches the cassette 50T so it must be out of adjustment.
Have you adjusted it yourself, B-tension and limits, or was it they same person who put the washers under the caliper adapters?
is it adjusted correctly though? Otherwise, the offset of the chainring is too great or the cassette is too big for the derailleur.
Start with taking the washers out from under the calliper adapter, they shouldn't be there, and look at the part number.
Have you got a spec sheet for the bike?
@atlet I am assuming you built this bike yourself or did you buy it complete?
You have the wrong caliper spacer for the brake rotor size.
Looks like your derailleur needs limit screws adjusting. Which derailleur and cassette are you running?
Mini System Controller
I did want to try the new mini remote with the frame-mounted controller. Of course, it would require cutting into the frame, but if someone had enough interest to modify the connectors on the mini controller it could all be wired into the motor before cutting to test it...
Unfortunately not, diy updates are only available with the smart system motor. Bosch has prevented this DIY by utilising different connectors, amongst other things.
You can still add Tour+ to the old system it just requires a visit to the bike shop, as you mentioned.
Coal ash is used as a road base.
“Coal ash can also be used to stabilize pavement base by improving its strength, and coal ash can be applied as a substitution or replacement for cement, fine aggregate, or coarse aggregate.”
@Litehiker , sounds like an epic adventure. How many people use Ebikes for practical purposes and not just riding trails?
Did you actually carry the Bluetti on the bike or does it live with the vehicle at camp? ⛰️🚴☀️
