Comment by 'Haibike Sucker of Chains' in article 'WHEN should you stop pedalling to not DESTROY your motor ?'

Brilliant, thank you. This gent is so helpful - I literally called him late this afternoon because i have play developing on my PW-X2. Initially I was thinking its just my OCD kicking in, but after a quick chat I know its time get a warranty claim going before it runs out in a couple of months...

AllMtn 6&7 - Warning - Check your rear triangle bearing locations for cracked paint!

Seen quite a few go like this tbh. The frame and rear triangle have a 5 year warranty to the original owner and like most brands cant be transferred (excluding specialized and Trek)....Try contacting Haibike/Raleigh UK you "might" be able to order spares, however the timescales will be long...

AllMtn 6&7 - Warning - Check your rear triangle bearing locations for cracked paint!

Glad you finally got it sorted fella, but what a faff eh. No one should have to go through that. Ive heard quite a few negative stories about that store, pretty sh1te. Mine was Fudges in Epsom, utter waste of space once they have your money, I go to onyourbike in felbridge now, I have to pay...

AllMtn 6&7 - Warning - Check your rear triangle bearing locations for cracked paint!

Sorry to hear that fella, but glad you found the link I started. Tbh I really didn't expect this issue to have gone on so long without seeing a solution in place or an actual response or recall by now. Over the last month or so, I have seen a couple of cases where replacement parts have been...

AllMtn 6&7 - Warning - Check your rear triangle bearing locations for cracked paint!

Ug sorry to hear that - I've seen a few more over the last couple of weeks. Assume you'll be getting a refund, although I have recently seen a few replacement carbon rear parts get supplied for other owners with these issues, so that could be promising news

Haibike - Allmtn Carbon Rocker linkage bearing replacement

Hi all, the bearings need replacing in my allmtn7 carbon rocker. I have the tools to extract no problem, however the uneven carbon shaping of the rocker means their is no way to evenly apply pressure when fitting, the press shell will touch a very small area, and obvs Im concerned about the...

AllMtn 6&7 - Warning - Check your rear triangle bearing locations for cracked paint!

I'll try and get you photo of the rear linkage over the next day or so. The pic above is standard fella, the shims are on display in that area of the bike - it's the 4 horst link ones that they sprayed over. I'd remove those 4 pivot bolts and take a peek on the insides If I were you, judging...

AllMtn 6&7 - Warning - Check your rear triangle bearing locations for cracked paint!

Every bike I've seen with this issue resulted in a refund, a couple of owners managed to exchange the bike for something else in stock with the lbs. I've heard of 2 attempts to repair, both failed. Pretty quiet on new frame issues reported tbh (Lack of new bikes or all the frames with issues...

AllMtn 6&7 - Warning - Check your rear triangle bearing locations for cracked paint!

Purely to get the support from Berkshire cycles buddy - They lead the way with Specialised customer service. That's the only reason fella, Neither the Levo or Kenevo do it for me tbh. The allmtn7 is such a good bike, I've ridden loads of bikes and this thing takes top place, honestly. It's...

AllMtn 6&7 - Warning - Check your rear triangle bearing locations for cracked paint!

Did the repair co cock it up? - What happened bud. Hard to know on alternative ebikes as they all have issues and parts are a nightmare to source for everyone. If it was me I'd100% go specialized next, not a fan usually as the pricing sucks, purely as I'm within reach of Berkshire cycles and...
