Ordered the XT 11 speed Linkglide drivetrain (shifter, cassette, derailleur and chain)
and the DT Swiss Ratchet LN kit to convert my 3 pawl to ratchet engagement. The ratchet LN kit only comes with 18t, so i also ordered a set of '24t hybrid' ratchets for a big higher engagement.
I think the two...
yeah your fine to put more air in, i found i needed more psi on my thron 6.9 shock too. I think due to the way they have configured the shocks negative air chamber spacers? MAX psi is about 300-350 forgot which one.
If you want your drivetrain to last longer (much, much longer), switch to hot waxing your chain and rotate 3 chains regularly. It takes much less time and fluffing around then the normal chain cleaning/lubing procedures. Unless you ride primarily in wet environments then its not as good.
If you didnt strip the chain of its factory grease first, then your wax application isn't going to last nearly as long because it won't be able to adhere to it as well. It may look fine at first, but you will find that it will start making those 'dry chain' noises much sooner, and even after...
Waxing your chain is great if you ride mainly dry weather. It's much faster than keeping a chain clean and lubing it, once you have the process down and wax multiple chains at once.
Considering the motor is the same hardware, i don't think this is the case. You just need to take it to shop for motor firmware update. Not that big a deal. I can't see any reason why this motor wont get any future performance updates as the new model, considering they are identical drive wise.
i highly recommend the Super B TB-WS50 E-Bike stand, its cheap and strong and can handle up to 50kg

My bike (130mm trail) came with rekon 2.6 front and back in dual compound.
I'm swapping the front to a dissector and replacing the rear with another rekon, but this time both of them with maxx terra compound and 120 tpi casing. I'm trying to get the tiniest bit more grip but without affecting...
I considered swapping the 130mm fox Rhythm fork on mine for something with the tiniest bit more suspension but I think it could impact the bikes geometry too much in a negative way given how upright it already is.
I think at this point Ive upgraded enough stuff on this bike lol. I'm just going...
Honestly, for the most part, no. I've seen pictures of people's drivetrains looking like you could eat off it without having been cleaned for 2 months. Cleaning is simply taking it off the bike, pouring boiling water over the chain in a sieve, then dunking it in the slow cooker with wax and...
Ordered a set of revgrips suspension grips to replace Ergon GA3 due to blisters and discomfort.
Also replacing my tires. Bike is a 130mm trail bike it came with both 29 2.6" Maxxis Rekon DC exo. I'm switching the front out for a 29 2.6" Maxxis Dissector with Maxx terra exo+ and the rear with...
I had really big problems with kiox Bluetooth connection to my s10 to the point that I just uninstalled the app and not use Bluetooth on my kiox anymore it was just too much of a headache for me.
Try update the kiox to the latest firmware version with the little speed dial in the top left...
I've got a 31.8 ALU bar (pnw range kw) which is said to be quite compliant for what it is, but I've been thinking of swapping over to carbon for a bit more comfort. Heard about the one-up carbon 35 but just wondering how that would compare to the 31.8 Alu. I know the one-up tapers off quite fast...
Copy pasted from another thread i made:
This is on my Focus Thron
I replaced the saddle because the stock one is so firm it violated me , I went for the Ergon SM E-Mountain Core Prime and i cant sing enough praises for it. I replaced the handlebar grips with Ergon GA-3. Swapped out the...
