Cheers. Got the works headset and tried it out yesterday. Seems to help slightly but it's not a big difference. Running a 180mm lyrik on the front and measured head angle at 64 degrees now.
just back from Dunkeld today and over 30 miles of enduro tracks, along with a couple of runs on the downhill track too and the airliners are still holding up well so far. Still not enough to guarantee anything after 2 weeks but hope this helps inform. rider weight 65kg running 15psi on Magic...
I didn't say it was the fault of the ratbite, I said I sustained damage with a ratbite installed and have now lost faith in them for e bikes. The airliners are solid compared to the ratbite and twice the size too. You can squash the ratbite with your fingers but no chance with airliner. 2...
be careful with the ratbites, i have damaged a rim already with them in and have now taken them out and replaced them with vittoria airliners , which are far more substantial in build, so far so good, although i will wait a while longer before i give a full review.
12 miles on shimano, is the least for me and im only 65kg. As discused on other threads, it's more about the elevation and I average about 3500 feet climb on a full charge, in trail mode. I keep 2nd battery in the van rather than carry it and this works well for us most of the time. We usually...
dont think you can get a chain guide with bash guard for the shimano motor. i tried a while ago and its because the bolt pattern is unique. if you can find one though, let me know? cheers.
Xt brakes are under powered and I had to move onto zee. I'm under 11 stone though. You might need something stronger. As for plus tyres bouncing around, just put inserts like vittoria air liners in and it will use up half of the volume.
You can deal direct with Madison re the motor, or you can use one of the dedicated Shimano service centres for things like diagnostics although the unit is about 200 quid anyway.
