You want to get wheels built with Dr Swiss xm521 rims, but more importaintly you will need inserts. I have already damaged a rear hope 35w with a ratbite insert. Have now ordered vittoria air liners.
Back my previous post, motor was swapped over and problem cured, reinstalled old motor problem back, so nothing to do with connectors, it's the torque sensor.
Just to let people know, I got the error code w013 intermittently for a few weeks, but a reboot always fixed it, so it looks like it was a warning that I should have looked at before.
My prob was that during a ride the motor cut out and never recovered after 3 days of trying to get it to start. That's when I took it back to the shop and put it onto the diagnostics to find no fault showing.
Good to know, mine is also in Madison and it's a common problem with the torque sensor, which I believe is deep inside the motor, error code e010 and w013. At least shop gave me another motor to use.
Have tried all of the above, from individually deleting all the climbs to going private and looking ebike too and it looks like most people just log it as private so as to have something to refer back to with some sort of detail. More and more though, I know that a lot of e bikes are just put on...
You can still put a reverb dropper with thumb shift on a standard bike, just move the left hand mode shifter inboard. I'm waiting for the 7000 button mode shifter.
Just got ratbites today for my 2.8 magic Mary's, going to try milkit valves and stans race sealant. Won't be able to test till next week though, but will let you all know what happens.
It's more about the elevation than distance from my experience. It's a known issue with Shimano. Great motors though, when they work. 3 of my friends have the same bike and get the same range and 1 gets about 11 miles on trail, but he is 20 stone.
Nearly always stay in trail, although I have now upped it to high, still had the same prob in low and medium, it's a well known issue with steps 8000 motor.
My rider weight is only 11 stone.
I have the cheaper 800 version and have spent about £1500 on upgrades.first a second battery, a must due to the short ranges on the shimano motors, around 15 miles and 3500 feet climbing.
second set of wheels, hope 35w rims on hope hubs.
Charger 2 damper and 180mm air shaft.
2 more gnar dog...
