    Going Tubeless

Okay so to try and get this done in the cheapest way possible I'm thinking: Sealant (Stans, 1L) at £24. Valves (Muc Off 44mm) at £18. Try and fit the tyres with my track pump. Failing that use friend's compressor. Later, when I have more spare cash, add in the compressor and syringe. Does...

    Going Tubeless

How necessary is a syringe? Lots of people seem to say just pour some sealant in as it does not clog the valve. Others say to use a syringe as you can measure accurately and it makes less mess. What's the opinion of the educated masses here? Thanks Blakey

Is there a standard/recommended syringe to get the sealant into the valve?

Embarrassingly Can't Get Rear Wheel Off

Thanks all. I think the initial worry was simply over the fact that the Allen key nut was super tight. So it took some grunt to release it. I was just concerned not to f-up my £4.5k bike by being a numpty. :) Once I'd got the bike the right way round (i.e. upside down!) it seemed to be a...

    Going Tubeless

Great info all - thanks heaps. I'm trying to source the bits now... Rutland (where I bought the bike) confirmed the rims come pre-taped so I just need sealant and valves as said. I'm assuming the compressor is a one-off? Just use it to seat the tyres and then the sealant gets applied and...

    Going Tubeless

Great advice - thanks. A friend who is also about to go tubeless has a compressor at work he can borrow. I assume one of them with a presta valve will do the trick?

    Going Tubeless

Hey all, Seriously thinking about going tubeless after my first puncture this week. I'm riding a Cannondale Moterra 3 2020 which has WTB ST i29 TCS, 32h, tubeless ready rims and Maxxis Minion DHF (F), Minion DHR II (R) / 3C compound, EXO+, tubeless ready tyres. When I took the tyre off to...

Embarrassingly Can't Get Rear Wheel Off

Errr, thanks. :) The bike didn't come with a manual sadly. Anyway I ended up flipping it upside down so it looked more familiar, and then just went at it with the allen key which did the job. Can you replace non-quick release bolts with the quick-release version?

Embarrassingly Can't Get Rear Wheel Off

So I got my first puncture today on my 28-day old Cannondale Moterra 3. Someone cut a load of hawthorns down on a bridleway I ride and I'm guessing I picked up a thorn there. This is the first bike I've owned without a quick release and I can't get the wheel off! It has a 5mm alen key hole...

Lights, what have you bought/ recommend

I'm also on the hunt for a quality front light. Main issue I have had with all the ones I have tried is that they don't stay in place - as I ride some rough terrain the bumps cause the mounting to slip. I'm wondering how easy it would be to get a light which plugs into the eBike battery too...

    Newbie from Mid Sussex

Hello all, I'm a newbie from Mid Sussex, UK. Just bought myself a Cannondale Moterra 3, 2020 model on 1st September, and have been out on it every day since! Absolutely love it. It's a big upgrade from my old hardtail and the first full sus rig I've ever owned. So I got three lovely new...
