I've read that those are the #1 choice. Mavic also do an E-cross wheel too for a little less. All companies specify a steel bodied hub, but if you have a 12 speed then those are all aluminium as far as I can tell. Did you opt for the Hunts ?
If I'm right, the 2020 bikes only use Bosch gen 4 and the new Sachs motor (110 NM) ??. The previous models use Brose, Shimano, Bosch and Fazua. They must have the biggest range of bikes, something for everyone.... I sound like a salesman. I think the brand gets overlooked a little.
Anybody else slightly excited by the new Sonic series ? From what I've seen, they look fab and my money is definitely on one, unless Vitus pull something out of the bag. That Sachs motor is getting more and more interesting. Especially as the knocking noises being reported from the new Bosch gen...
I own a Bosch and am quite fond of the power delivery in emtb. I hired a Brose powered Levo in Gran Canaria for a day, but I was more overwhelmed by the terrain than the bike.
Didn't Steve from EMBN quickly show a Bosch generation 4 chainring at Sea Otter? Hinting that the industry is already aware and preparing parts for the new motor.
Just to be clear, am I correct in thinking that the Brose motor doesn't have a variable setting that progressively switches between low and high power ? Like trail mode and E-MTB on Shimano and Bosch ?
Looking good Uppy. I received mine last week, swapped the stem for a shorter model and fitted my fave Expedo Spry pedals. Looking at some wider bars, looks like you already have that covered.
Those output sockets on the motor can be 6 or 12 volt. Make sure you use a tester to check rhe output, before you fry your new 6 volt light, like they did at the shop with mine ?
