Okay, I thought that was the case then.
I'm not sure when mine was hacked so will have to use BLevo to track from now on then :) I input my correct circumference and will be going for a ride of 60kms today to test out again. Thanks!
I've left my Levo overnight about 5 times in many places like train stations and in Birmingham outside (only choice) and yes, it's risky as fock! I use two d locks with two cables.
For short trips, even into a shop or town, I take a dlock and cable in my backpack and have them tight to my back...
When I bought my mondraker a few years ago, I just strapped the entire bike to my backpack with a shit ton of bungee. I was 80 miles from home and the ride on the motorway was so uncomfortable :ROFLMAO:
You can buy trailers, but that picture of the bike carrier doesn't look to promising for a...
Paolo, you're a life-saver! Thanks for this. Will sort that out tomorrow after work as I really want to track my rides properly :) I have the speed hacked and not sure what the circumference is set to at the moment.
Thanks so much for this app and the ongoing support you provide for us all -...
Halo sponsor many skilled riders. I deal with ISON, who supply Halo in the shop so might pick up some bits at trade if I like what I see. Cheers for the suggestion!
If this is something that's on next year...I'd be up for it! I don't have any mode of transport except push bikes and a motorbike so carrying a Levo plus gear is pretty tough! :ROFLMAO:
I tried using Mission Control today to track a ride. Didn't go well. I did over 32km but got 2 separate rides of 4km and 5km oddly enough.
I want to use BLevo's tour function and want it to be accurate. What should I set the wheel circumference to with 27.5 inch wheels? Is it the rim diameter...
Thanks for this @Norange. As I say, I've not used Hope hubs before and my experience as a customer of theirs is limited. However, I have gotten replacement parts for a tandem I built recently which had their 6 pot brakes on them and Hope couldn't have been better customer-service wise!!
I'm...
I work with e-bikes and know a bit about lithium technology. There isn't an issue running the battery down as such I think, but there can be implications to battery health are storing the battery at a given percentage for a given time.
Normally, you should never leave the battery under 10%...
Can't help entirely but I did a Chainring clean a while ago and didn't torque the chainring bolts all the way up. A lot of creaking until I applied the correct torque. Could be worth checking that too. I've got a brose motor, not Bosch so can't comment further.
There are posts about creaking on...
Yeah no probs mate :) I've only got one battery but it takes me about 2 hours to get from home to winchester so would have to charge up then roll out for a ride. I could get the train but its about £17 which hurts :P
I actually hadn't heard of this company. Looks pretty cool and kinda reminds me of the older Santa Cruz Nomad's from around 2009 :) Not long for you to wait! :D
Cheers for the info Gary. I've not used many Hope bits my self, well never their hubs at least. I am a fan of the colour but I know not everyone likes the certain "in your face" colours available.
I will have to look around at the hubs then - got any manufacturer recommendations? Your reference...
Cheers for that. I've seen these before. Might check for a red stem from them and see it's like. #I will be building my wheels with some red nips and hubs soon when I get a chance in the workshop :)
Hi all,
I'm looking to get some hope parts for my bike this year. Just whilst I'm digging online for the parts, I was wondering if there are any similar brands out there that sell good quality parts in striking colours?
The quality of hope is a real attraction and the personalised touch it adds...
Good way of putting that there Shaun. I agree totally with your thoughts there and, ultimately, someone else's reasons for or against buying something always conflict with another person. If you like it...grab it!
