Here several of the trails are Fkd up from heavy machinery dragging cut trees etc. One time after rain I fell in with front wheel. The brake disc was completely submerged lol, I thought it's a small puddle!
I bought the same mudguard, was a pain in the ass to install it. Didn't try it out though, as I was quite sick for the past two weeks so didn't ride anywhere at all.
I meant spraying the ass area of the pants, not the saddle. I use the pants for commuting now that it's colder and wet, at work I change into jeans.
Mudguards I have, but they obviously aren't good enough. Won't the shorts also soak the water from pants? You are after all sitting on the wet...
The pants are water resistant, it's just sitting on wet seat that's the problem. Do you think that spraying that area with some waterproofing spray would help?
So I have these new fox defend fire pants and the ass area let's in water like no tomorrow. How do you deal with something like this? Already twice in a row my boxers got drenched. Should I just go commando or poke two leg holes in a grocery bag.
Forgot to close this issue! The wheel was out of dish by good 2 cm. LBS fixed it and now it's properly centered. Must have happened during one of the tumbles
Yeah that would make sense I guess. I don't have the pads, but I need to have long sleeve jersey on top of long sleeve merino base layer and a jacket..Tried once with just short sleeve jersey but arms were very cold.
I have 100% brisker gloves, but my hands are frozen in them! Now because of black friday deals, I'm thinking of getting Skinsealz all weather gloves with fusion control (whatever mumbo jumbo that is). I wonder if it's worthy those 12 eur extra over regular Skinsealz all weather gloves.
