I’ve been using it for 2 weeks and here is my findings. It charges much faster than compact charger. Bosch literature is pretty much spot on. I don’t feel any difference in the way the battery discharge using either charger. I like it. I wish they offer in 110v as I’m using a step up now.
Depending on how it mounted on the bike, you will need the side supported. The bending force on those rods are probably stronger than the threaded inserts on the battery is designed for.
wow, I’m 5’8.5” and tried Large and S/M. I couldn’t hit the ground with dropper post all the way down on Large. I can manage but it’s a big bike. I ended with S/M and felt great. My jeans inseam is 31
Here is the final setup. As I mentioned earlier I had to replace my 300w 220v inverter with 1000w and 110v. The reason is 220v is really hard to find in this side of the world. So I could only get 110v. Then I use a step up of 110v-220v. I could run 110v on the Giant charger and won’t be any...
What I mean if you only need to charge one battery at a time, depending on which charger you have a 500w inverter is more than enough. In fact a 300w inverter is enough but you don’t leave any margin. The smaller the inverter, the easier wiring and storage will be. I had a 300w (10 ga wiring)...
The Tesla has a 12v battery to run the lights, audio etc just like regular car. And it gets supplied 14v to it from the main battery. I’m not sure how many amps it supplied but I tested it at home before the trip and it works. I figure it should work since there are few people running monster...
For one battery a 500w inverter is more than enough. I’m charging 2 batteries so I have to use 1000w. Using 500w will simplify wiring as it won’t require such big cable. Depending on the length of the cable you might get away with 10 gauge cable
I’m on 3 weeks road trip and charge my battery using inverter. It is inefficient but works great. It’s also important to say that I’m on Tesla model 3. I wish there is a way to do dc to dc charging instead of converting it to ac and back to dc. This will only work on a regular car if the...
Just got mine updated. To be honest, the difference is subtle. I’ve only done 1 ride at the same trail, I don’t notice any difference in battery usage.
one issue I have is the software on the kiox shows 1.1.2.0. But on my ebike connect still 1.0.2.0. For some reason it doesn’t transmit all the...
The airbag in motorcycles jacket do not use cable but electronic to detect fall. I hope this will eventually trickle to bicycle. However, while those airbags are light they don’t allow any air to go through this will be hot, I think.
I’ve tried so many pads, including the race face. Love the fact that they can be worn without taking off shoes. But damn they are hot. Might be perfect for winter use.
I ended up with Leatt airflex pro. It doesn’t protect shin, so I got TSG shin protection separately that I can use if I feel I...
After calling few supposedly Bosch dealers, I can tell you that Mike’s bike where I bought my bike can’t do the update. Other local bike shop refused to do it, cause the Orbea is not a brand they carry. I think they just don’t have the dongle. Frame Up bicycle in Walnut Creek is getting their...
I’ve been impressed with Leatt Airflex pro line. I now run their elbow and knee guards. Lightweight and surprisingly comfortable and really good. I already tested it twice :)
Are you saying you’re a fat ass and needed that kind of pressure? I kid, I kid.
in all seriousness it will give you 25 psi on tubeless or even more if you use tube. If you need more, there is that thing that you put the canister into called EDC pump ;)
Gordon, the EDC pump head is also CO2 inflater. So you don’t need to carry extra one. I tested a 20g is way more than enough to inflate a 29x2.6 tire and it will fit inside the EDC pump.
I don’t carry bad and this is what I do.

One up edc and 20g CO2 inside a one up pump.
Inside the Nike bag tied onto the top tube are spare tube, wolf tooth plier with chain link, and spare spoke magnet.
Also I was able to rearrange my bottle cage using the wolf tooth bracket so I can carry 1L bottle.
Inside the spacers for the...
