Yes and No.
Not all Chain Wear and Chain Breakers will work. SRAM made small list from the ones that work. And yes there are more than those on the list ;-)

I don't know what my distance and altitude meters are. I do not ride with a Garmin or similar any more. I do not have the need to track this. What I know that I have fun 😇
With my Trail emtb. That is 1 year old. Has know more than 5000km on the clock. And on the Enduro emtb that is 3 months...
In Europe the Torque ON comes without mudguard. When I bought my Torque ON I ordered it separately for a few euro. It was listed as one of the extra options.
It is not doing that much on the bike. This was after 15min ride. After 3 hours it was a different story. 😇
Think there is no such thing as best bike. The bikes I have I made some changes to make them more to my preferences. Sometimes this means changing the whole group set, wheels, brakes, suspension etc...
What I have learned in al those years. You can have the best bike. But I'm still lacking my...
On my DT HXC 1501 wheel set with 240 hubs I had something similar. I had same with the XX1 cassette. In my case it was the free hub. Sometimes the cassette is not fitting correctly. Casette was tied. But spacing of the end cap was not correct. And tidying more was not fixing it. It was damaging...
Stoped using an Garmin to see what distance and altitude meters I cover. Having fun is most important :cool: We like to go up as often as we can to have all the fun going down. Normally we cover 2000 + altitude meters on day.
And not always started with a full battery.
For me it was not the debat about to be faster. I have more fun on my emtb. I can do more laps with it. More fun going down.
I have some back challenges. This means for me that I loose strength in my legs after an hour or two of biking. Now with an emtb I can do longer rides. My physics...
It works with 53 and 55mm chain line. Then is the question is there an (third party) Chain ring Transmission that fits your crank. There are some third party brands that announced chain rings.
Yes it can work ;-)
For my two EMTB's I really don't care that mutch about the weight. I ride the DT HXC1501 carbon rims with DT 240EXP hubs. Not the lightest carbon wheels.
On the Spectral ON the 30mm with CushCore XC inserts (front & rear)
On the Torque ON the 35mm with CushCore Pro inserts (front & rear)
For me...
Did use an Shimano 4-arm spider 53mm CL and a FSA 4-arm spider with 55mm CL with a:
* SRAM transmission 34T chainring and
* Standard 34T chainring.
Also tested it with a:
* Canyon 34T 53mm CL chainring.
* SRAM Transmission 34T 55mm CL for Shimano Steps
Tested it on two bikes. Canyon Torque ON...
The Transmission cassette sits 3mm more to the outside than the old SRAM cassettes. Also the teeth of the cassette has changed. Same with the chain. This has a different witdth. The transmission has 14 steps of micro adjustment where the older AXS has 30. This will be hard to make it fit. Yes it...
I was also curious. And treid it whit the an XX1 cassette, chain and chainring. With a 53mm (CL) chainline. Yes it did shift till the 11 T. Not the best, but it worked. Shifting to the 10th it was horror.
There is also different spacing between the new and old SRAM cassettes. With the...
Last year I decided for the Spectral ON CDR LTD. Spectral nice bike for ride where you are ling in the saddle and paddling. But also great for descending. I did bring my Spectral a few time to Bikepark Winterber (Germany) with a big smile I did the Downhill, black line and the enduro trails...
I can really advise the SRAM XX Transmission group set for the emtb. Shifting under load etc works great. Beter then the old AXS en Shimano XT(R) group sets.
I was also in the running for an CF Roczen. The spec/colour of the Roczen were almost there for me. Some of the specs did hold me back...
What you describe I would not choose for a Torque On. I would look towards a Neuron On or maybe a Spectral ON. This one's are more paddle friendly ;-). The Torque ON is not a long distance pedaling machine. It is a fun machine for technical descents, jumps and drops :cool: The Spectral ON is...
