I have an TTX22M.2 on a Torque ON CF (2023) with 457 spring. 27/28% sag. One of the things I learned that compression en rebound settings are also importent to setup correctly.
Weight 80 kilo
Riding style normal Enduro and bike park. Bottom out once in a while on heavier hits.
The SRAM AXS XX1 with Shimano XTR cassette/chain + Hyperglide+ chainring works same or even better then full SRAM AXS XX1. When you are going to mix chains, chainring and cassette. This will work. But shifting will be not that smooth.
When using SRAM Transmission. Sorry ... you can not mix with...
Thanks, Unfortunately most bike companies do not offer E Bike frame only options. So you can build your own specked bike. Had the luck that I did get good discount on the bike and sold the parts I did not use.
The MTBhoppers are fun and good for some practicing. We have a few Intro's and...
I couldn't find a enduro bike with the specs I wanted. I ended up with a Canyon Torque ON CF9. Kept the frame, motor and Fork. Sold the rest of the bike. Build it up with the parts I wanted. Was also a fun project to do.
SRAM Transmission, AXS 170mm, Ohlins TTX22M.2 coil, DT XHC1501 35mm wheels...
More than enough ;-) Last week Chaudfontaine (BE) and Reichswald (DE) Yesterday Witten (DE), Today Reichswald.
Bikepark season almost started. So asap to Winterberg etc..
So long the geometrie of my Canyon Spectral ON CFR LTD and Torque ON CF suits me they stay. For now I'm quit happy with them. When needed I make some changes/updates to the bikes. Spectral used for 5000+km in one year and Torque ON 2000+ in a few months.
The Torque ON only the frame, motor...
The rebuild of the Torque ON is almost done. Only frame/motor and fork ar original. Rest changed. ;-)
Waiting on the: last parts:
5DEV 160mm EP8 crank
OneUp Carbon E Bar and 42mm Stem
Magura MDR-P 220mm rotors + adapers
Bleeding is just as easy as with Shimano brakes. I use The Park Tool bleed kit. I have one bike with Magura MT8 carbon lever (dirt jumper). Bleed on the lever with the bleed cup with an adapter. This works for me easier than with a syringe on both sides.
Other 3 bikes have Shimano M9120 levers...
I use the Shigura (Magura calipers, Shimano levers) setup on my bikes (four bikes). Best of both worlds ;-)
Used Magura MT7 Raceline with hose and the Shimano XTR M9120 levers (with Shimano barb & olive and Shimano mineral oil)
With some e MTB's you have to lose the motor so you can route the...
Batteries are the same since introduction. This is what Canyon told me.
Yesterday I also discovered some cracks (6 in total) on my 720 battery. Did fill in the Canyon contact form send photos. Within two hours a reply that this is not normal and that a new battery is on his way.
And they will...
Friend of my was riding them. I did a ride with his bike and the brakes did stop me where needed. It has a bit less stopping power then I was used. Still a good set of brakes. Also quit easy to bleed.
I ended up to do two other rides with his bike. For me I prefer the Magura MT7 (raceline)...
I use the Pod Ultimate on three bikes. I tested it with the Magura MT7 HC3 and MT8 carbon (race line) brake levers and default Pod ultimate mount. Worked for me. As everything it is a personal thingy ;-)
I'm not a big fan of the Magura levers. So exchanged them for Shimano XTR M9120. This works...
I have the Spectral ON CFR LTD (2023)
It is not the motor. You need to exchange the chainring. For a T Type one.
SRAM has one with a Shimano Steps mount. Or you can use a 4-arm spider. Shimano has a 4-arm spider with 53mm chainline. You can use the SRAM T Type chainring.
On the Spectral I...
