Went round and round doing this multiple times with no luck. I’m going to try the step by step from Rustyiron below and report back, but thanks for the help.
Let me know how you get on and I will do the same and report back. Its encouraging that you actually had it working at one point as its never worked for me whatsoever.
Yeah you're right. I am doing the usual of trying to make multi national companies honour their customer commitments while wading through a sea of template generated email responses. Strava and Bosch gave me totally useless corporate answers. Googling the problem brings up literally nothing on...
Its such a shame. The data on the Bosch Flow is really good. The satnav feature in particular has me discovering areas of my local patch I have never seen before. Despite connecting the app it will not transfer anything from it. There has to be a setting or something as Komoot works seamlessly.
I’ve connected the two and given permissions to Strava… the Flow recorded rides save to Flow app, but will not appear in Strava unless I save GPX data and import it manually using their website (not the phone app), which basically means in a round about way, it’s not syncing.
Can anyone help...
UPDATE - Ok I just cycled to a reputable body shop near me (who understood my pain) and they reckon I would be looking at respraying the entire top tube as it’s gone right through to the carbon fibre.
“Touch up paint will look like you’ve used touch up paint”, he said, but I’m thinking I don’t...
Yeah today I’m not feeling so bad. It really has been a hard lesson, but I’m now being positive to get it sorted, which is itself another lesson.
Im very grateful to everyone for the responses here.
Thank you I feel a slight sense or relief. What a day... :(
When you say 'any professional paint shop' do you mean car shop or something bike specific (if there is such a thing?) - sorry I am new to all this..
Do you think matching with the Cube Paint Pen would stand me in chance of a better result? I guess its the process that makes me slightly edgy. I have no knowledge of retouching a carbon frame and would rather get some help.
That's fabulous - I had no idea there was a touch up pen.
My issue is that as the bike fell onto top tube, they are pretty nasty gashes and could do with being filled first. I am going to head out to a car body shop tomorrow and ask what they would do now I can get a paint match, as they're...
I was washing the loose mud off my Cube Stereo 160 Actionteam this afternoon, leant the bike against a low garden wall, unlocked the back door, and the bike fell onto the wall sliding along the top tube. - you have no idea how wounded I feel. I am not used to the weight of an ebike and look what...
I’m also a new Cube Stereo 160 Actionteam owner. Bought just this Weds for £4500 as the New Year deals are so good at the moment.
It’s a total monster of a bike. I was A/Bing against a Whyte e160s at the same price but in the end the snappy handling / 27.5” wheels / slightly lighter / computer...
