I tweaked ECO mode by pushing the power up to +3 in the Flow app and that sorted it.

I’m definitely going to look at the phone adapter. I also dug out an Ergon MTB seat and changed it over for the block of wood that came with the bike. Made a huge difference today, but still not convinced it’s the most comfortable out there, so that’s for the tip.

I will seriously look into protecting certain parts of the frame. Luckily the Cube has a large plastic battery downtube coverand also plastic on a lot of other back parts of the frame, that I can't name as I am not that knowledgeable!

Yes thats good advice. I went to a paint shop, but I also went to my bike shop today. I explained I was getting some Cube paint and was told to use a matchstick to apply it, not a paint brush. Also to do it very carefully and in very small amounts, to build up / flood the paint into the scratches.

I did a test ride and a trail ride yesterday and everything synced - I’ll monitor it and report back if I get the same outcome.

Yes this worked a treat.. Everything is connected now. I think I must of had an older version of Strava on my phone. All the rides are still there since I bought the bike. Thanks so much.

Yep I am with you there. I have been riding my new Cube on trails with walkers and I have to 'keep apologising for having a bike without a bell' as my way of letting them know I am behind them. Never heard of a Timber Bell, will go and look it up right now.
