That’s what I meant, the U.K. was making it work, but this argument that the EU was hampering trade was always nonsense in my opinion. But what’s done is done.
Agree with your view.
That surely begs the question that if the U.K. government couldn’t make trade work whilst an EU member, how on earth would they be capable of making trade work outside it? Seeing as it’s the largest single market in the world.
This in XL should be a contender. Not sure how quick you can get one though.

The Whyte is my first emtb, so don’t have a lot to compare against, but have tried a generic bafang hard tail that was not great. I ordered my bike when we went into lock down so couldn’t try any bikes. Wanted a Trek rail 5 but when I went to my LBS they told me it would be a few months wait...
If you can, go to a bike shop and try out a few models. Also decide how much you are willing to spend. I wouldn’t get worried about range and battery problems at this stage, most decent bikes now have batteries 500wh or more. A lot now come with 625wh or more. I have a Whyte with a Bosch motor...
I have the PCS 9.2 and works fine with the Whyte, but I use the seat post to attach to. You could theoretically attach it to the top tube, but that would depend where on the top tube you wanted to place it. The suspension would get in the way, and smaller frames (I have large) might mean you can...
They are rubbish. I know someone who got something similar but more expensive. Absolute junk. Lasted 2 months before falling apart. Frames are terrible and not designed for the stresses it is out under. The banana motor and battery were fine, it’s the frame and other components that are crap.
I’ve got the 150S and had it 2 months, no issues or complaints at all. I don’t regret going for the RS yet ? absolutely brilliant bike that makes you grin!
I’ve got the edge explore, Komoot works well with it. Have done some 6 hour rides with it, although I had thought it might not last the distance with its battery, it always has so far. Use komoot to plan routes and then it downloads automatically when your phone or iPad is connected.
