I think it’s a bit like which side if the road you drive on, UK tends to do it differently to Europe. I don’t think one way is more correct than the other...
I think on Komoot you need to set way points if there is a specific route you want, I haven’t used it loads but I know what you mean about the route it decides to take you on is sometimes illogical. Like constantly putting you on roads when there is a perfectly good cycle way.
I got one of these recently and it’s good provided you set it up properly. I would turn off the beeps, auto-recalculation etc as that’s a bit annoying. You can install widgets like Komoot which I have used and is great. Also use Trailforks as that’s much better at finding trails.
Yes I am gagging to get on it to be honest! It’s bad enough waiting, but with the Covid situation it feels like it’s taken even longer than the 5 weeks it’s taken so far.
Yeah so your employer approves your application, gets an invoice from Cyclescheme and then pays it. When you apply it will...
Yeah it’s been quite a journey for me to decide on which bike to go for, have used the cyclescheme to pay for the bulk of it, so am saving a big chunk of it. But glad I decided to buy through a local shop so that when things go wrong I don’t have to send it off by courier. Have read some horror...

I didn’t...
That was listed at £3950 a few days ago. I was intending on getting this bike, but ended up getting the Whyte E150S as the Trek wasn’t going to be in stock until October I was told. Glad I did now as I would have had to pay more for the Trek anyway.
Was reading through the thread on here in the other manufacturers section last night, was really encouraging to read what others thought of it. That can’t be a bad sign in my book.
So I had been looking at getting a Trek Powerfly or Rail 5, but after a trip to my LBS and a chat with the great staff, I’ve changed my mind. The Trek is out of stock in my size everywhere, and new stock that isn’t already taken is now end of October as the earliest delivery date. The guy at the...
