Rise has turbo mode also and it has plenty of power. The power is a bit less than 90kn bikes but it allows a much better control of the bike. my comparison point is not cube but the Levo.

Went full sram axs, changed the hub to fit the sram cassette. (10-52). On of my best upgrade. buttery smooth and 10-52 is great for steep Stuff. But there was nothing wrong with xt, sram transmission is just better for me.
I can't see why 27.5 wheels would not fit in the frame/fork but if the + means bigger tires i.e. above 2.5, it might not fit in the rear triangle... plus expect more pedal strikes
Some may say the rise is a compromise between analog and FF ebike. Problem with compromises is that it can mean doing everything "partly". In the case of the Rise, it excels nearly everywhere, having the benefits of an analog bike + benefits of an e-bike (I own a Levo FF, a stumpy and a Rise but...
Slightly off subject but when the track gets very steep, I find the default Turbo (in mode 2) a good balance between power and control. That assist isn't even using the full 60nm of the Rise (default assist is 5 out of 7, i.e. 45nm I think). Isn't 85nm denaturing this very special and fine e-bike ?
I am 1.76 and like you, I scratched my head to decide between M and L. I own a Levo and Stumpy both Large which are great for me. Early this year, I tried a Rise M which felt fine but I finally bought a Rise L and have been riding it for 6 month, the bike feels just perfect for me (I have put a...
I got a Levo 2017 as my first e-bike four years ago (made it a 29' and 12 speed) and I bought a Rise M10 early this year. I ride and love both bikes. My Levo hasn't aged and still gives me a lot of fun. BUT the Rise is more nimble and its power fits my riding style a lot better. I also prefer...
The Shimano XT 4 piston on my M10 are doing great job at stopping the bike, especially after upgrading to 203 rotors. They are reliable so far, silent and easy to bleed. The one finger levers are super comfortable. In short, they would be perfect if there were more progressive. I feel they are...
After 5 weeks of wait, I finally got one (Orbea x1600000) delivered from veloboutiquepro. See comparison between the one I ordered from Pilo and the Orbea one.
Below message received from Orbea customer service two weeks ago.
“The reference number for the DERAILLEUR HANGER STD X12 FS 21 7075 is X1600000.
Unfortunately we don't have it available at the moment, although we will make a change to the stock as soon as we are able to.”
Congratulation for this upgrade, you will not regret it. I have had AXS on my levo for 2 years now and it works like a charm. I never heard (nor investigated) of the possibility to pair it with Garmin. Battery lasts long enough that you don't need to know level, just recharge it every couple of...
