Re Revgrips: They are relatively expensive compared to other grips, but they are the main contact point on the bike. I have narrowed radial nerve exit on my left C5 cervical vertebrae which can result in severe numbness and needle&pins tingle of left hand after half and hour into a ride.

I always used KMC chains and their speedlink. Safely re-used them 3-4 times. Normally a bit of pressure is needed for link to snap in. When it comes back too easy, it's time to ditch it.
I'm 5'11" and bought medium 900E (same geo as 900). Swapped stem to 50mm Renthal. Fits perfect, not cramped at all. My LBS who also deals with Trek and Norco says Merida's M's are quite generous.
E6000 for mode switch, E7000-R for Di2 shifter. Plug and play, after installation, updated to latest firmware via E-Tube. Prefer E6000 on the left because of the third switch to check cadence and distance.
Far, far bettter and cleaner setup compared to E8000 clunkers.
I don't think that the cable can be detached from the switch side. You may need to try another switch or even take bike to LBS and see if they can do some Shimano reset trick. Can't you set up shifting mode in E-Tube app?
My bike came factory setup with SW-M9050, but I don't like that switch...
Maybe it comes down to difference in body weight with riding kit on. Motor is going to work harder to move more weight (assuming you riding together and use same level of assistance).
I have the same problem BT connection problem with my new Merida. Worked fine with my Focus.
Removed and re-installed E-tube app (Android), still no cigar, no matter what I do.
So you suggesting to un-pair all BT devices on my phone? I have at least half a dozen devices paired (car audio...
I don't think you can tell when charging.
I stop charging, turn bike on and if it is one bar down from full I call it quits. If it is two bars down, I'll give it another 15-20 mins and check again.
You can run shock without spacers no problem, you cannot however exceed max. number of spacers specified by manufacturer.
You should find that info on Fox website.
I was very happy with Focus Bold2. For commuting a slick tyres made a lot of difference, I was swapping between wheelsets.
Decent on trails, Revelation fork was better than I thought it would be.
Never rode e-bike when I bought a second hand Focus Bold HT 2 years ago. Been lurking on this forum so I sorta knew what to expect. My biggest gamble was size, but previous owner was my height and claimed it is a generous M.
Had a great fun with this bike, made my hilly commute so much easier...
Thanks Gary, I have many adjustable spanners. Bought the bike last week, don't want to go heavy on it.
It's Sunday here and just playing with suspension setup. I have a Snap-On 32mm spanner at work so I can do it tomorrow, but just wanted to check right now. It is Grip2 damper, and I played for...
Hi guys,
Does anyone know how many volume spacers are in the Fox36 Factory fork on the 900E?
Fox fork manual that came with the bike is in German and one section days 1 spacer, the other 3 spacers.
Ta.
Bought myself 900E from my local Merida/Trek/Norco dealer on Saturday for $6500. Black/gold in Medium. He said is nearly impossible to get them in Large, no stock left. He also said that he could get me a green one for $6300.
Hell of a bike for the money.
