I have a mate that regularly carries one of those small folding saws for trail debris clearance. One year he was flying to Greece and taking his bike - he had his bike rucksack as hand luggage and hadn't repacked it! His bag was seized at security and he was marched to a little room. One member...
Have you tried doing a full components test with the PC LINKAGE UNIT SMPCE2 SHIMANO E800? Where are you located? I have one if you are nearby else try a local Shimano stockist?
I have the same bike. I posted earlier with the solution that worked for me over 18 months ago. Remove small side cover on motor. Remove connectors to motor using shimano tool. (display, batter, magnet sensor) Turn bike upside down. Spar contact cleaner liberally up into connectors to flush any...
I managed do dent my DT1700H rear rim. Still ran fine just wouldn't hold air when tubeless. Couldn't source any in 29" so have gone Hope Fortis. They feel more playful than the DT but only 40miles on them so far - similar riding and weight to you by the sounds of it. When supply restarts I may...
In my Experience if my range is about 35 miles on a 504w battery of mixed mode use but mainly eco, once I hit a single bar I don't expect much more than 5 cautiously used miles on my e8000. I'm 100kg. So I'm always heading for home once I've got 2 bars left. My son on his 635w EP8 can do a good...
I have a friend who operates a business in a water sport and essentially has constant replenishment and offers for sale as ex demo with discount off new. That way they sell on in much better condition. Remember also you can depreciate your asset against the business.
How tall are you?
Canyon have some XL currently in stock and if you don't mind going external battery but better spec, check out Commencal. Previous years at significant discount.
I have used my lbs for Shimano warranty work on a Commencal and put some normal maintenance their way as well.
With...
Stolen normal bike was my catalyst.
Only having riding buddies that could ride twice as far as me especially up hills was my driver.
Longer, more exploring, sessioning the same technic section to improve my skills, a leveller in fitness, not seeing a road ride to an offroad start as so much of...
because my H1700 rim dinked and the air won't stay in and despite ordering wheels in January there's no sight of a delivery date. But apart from that definitely tubeless.....
I ride mostly in ECO for battery life and fitness reasons. I like a 50t for the steeper climbs. Only use higher power modes if I'm going to need to "boost" through a section I wouldn't have the strength to clear.
I had my Fox 36 (eBike) serviced last month (also had a couple of issues) . Only took about 2 weeks. Shop that arrange it said they are getting busier.
