I’ve got thin worms (3.5mm) and thick worms (6mm), if I struggle to fix it with the 6mm one I tend to mushroom it when I get back (tyre off on one side, clean inside near hole, Apply Adhesive to tyre and mushroom face, push mushroom on and thru hole, (like fixing a tube the old vulcanising patch...
I still enjoy old faithful, poss less so uphill, but is sooo light and easy to lift/carry, and 26 is better once the going gets really tight and you’re weaving round the shrubbery. Nice to have the choice tho.
My gfs avid brakes can do that, firm at lever, then bike upside down and then get full travel at lever till pumped a few times, very strange
doing a full simultaneous bleed, at both master cyclinder and calliper appears to have fixed it.
hi,
yep, if you pulled one crank towards you at the pedal end you could see the other side noticeably move at the pedal end, and there was a clearly audible banging when you rocked it back and forwards vigorously, it had got worse over time. As it was way, way beyond the movement at which I...
Just had the motor replaced under warranty, 2000 miles. Had noticeable play when rocking the crank (pulling it away from bike at the end) that transmitted through to other crank, which was getting worse. Will add crank rocking to my post ride checks.
My reqts are that I can remove battery to transport bike on motorhome, that I can take battery into hotels/b&b etc to recharge overnight and can keep it out of the cold in winter - much easier if you can quickly and easily pop the battery out. for commuting I think it would help as well...
Apologies if I’m misunderstanding the issue but something like that that happened to me after a prang ( mode switch moved but didn’t change mode) Try rotating the mode lever towards you, it may be that it’s hitting the brake and therefore even though youre pushing it it isn’t going back far...
Daggnabit, really like the lightness of them but I also really like being able to remove the battery(house, hotel, motorhome charging), I see the later Bosch ones appear to be removable but you loose the weight advantage ............ ho hum
Hi, can you take the battery out easily - ie currently have an external Shimano 8020 so battery lives in house and is charged in the house, so can you do that with the focus and if so how much hassle is it, ta
Computer Magnet For E-Spark/E-Genius (2018)
Scott do a centrelock clamp on magnet, I’ve got s Scott using a Levo magnet (the wee two bolt on one, where you need 2 longer disc bolts) on my non centrelock hope hubs on the Scott and it works fine (standard wheels are dt Swiss centrelock) so I...
Have a look at motorhome bike covers, see fiamma and taylormade, (lots of others available) our taylormade is now 5 years old and going strong, also hides the bike and we use a kanulock (locking tie down) as security and antiflap
Putting in my real height and inside leg measurements on the canyon bike sizer gets me a nothing fits, if I up my inside leg it flickers between Xs and s. I currently ride a Scott 710 espark medium and do xc pootling only and it feels ok, so after any height related info re which size
Ta
lighter - buts that's spoken as a bimbling XC rider in it for the views, scenery and general exploring(lifting, dragging and carrying involved) with a bacon roll and coffee stop thrown in, so a sub 15kg 100mm full suspension XC whippet with an easy access battery(that fits in a std rucksack)...
FYI - successfully using a bolt on specialized levo magnet works, you just need the levo magnet bit and two slightly longer disc bolts.

Hi
Want to use a 6 bolt hub Wheelset but having searched the internet it seems that the only magnet I can find is centre lock as below
SCOTT Magnet for Computer on E-Spark/E-Genius as from 2018 - 266595
Do I have to bodge this onto a 6 bolt or is there another part or way to do it
Thanks
mmm - just been to a shop and tried a brand new motor - no movement or knocking noise when doing my pull/push test
just to help me understand - esp 'lateral' and 'spring'
If I put the palm of my hand on the end of the 'bb/crank (black star tightener bit) and push it straight 'into the bike'...
I've added a plastic battery cover flap - I take battery inside to charge. A bit of dpc - 6" wide thick black plastic) - bolt above battery out, hole in plastic/washers - cut top of plastic to match frame and gorilla tape - I use a small bungee at bottom of battery. Yes it is cheap but I never...
