@PaoloBLEvo A minor issue but when distance is set to miles in iOS BLEvo, Strava average consumption is labeled wh/km though BLEvo correctly shows wh/mi. The values are the same and are the correct wh/mi but labeled incorrectly in Strava.
Wish the USA would switch to metric like most of the...
My original post on upgrading the Revelation damper to Charger 2.1 RC2
I'm also considering increasing the travel to 160 with a new air spring as others have done.
Oveja Negra snack pack The large & extra large are designed to mount below the stem but this large works great turned around and strapped to the seat post on my large Levo. I also have the small but couldn't fit my iphone 11. No problem in the large. The max or other big phones might not...
Agreed. Took the left cover off last week just to check things out. Was surprised the small gauge wires didn’t terminate in a rugged plug like you see on cars. And they weren’t wrapped in extra sheathing all the way to the end nor supported very well. Visions of breaking off at the terminal from...
Glad to hear it’s fixed but what’s with these labor charges for warranty work? It’s bad enough when it’s an independent component mfg like SRAM but those were essentially Specialized parts. If auto companies had the same policy there’d be rioting in the streets! “Sir, your alternator is made by...
I've noticed that on regular bikes over the years so it's been part of my drying process. I like to hold the front vertical for a few beats to flow the lower fork oil towards the top seals. Haven't tried a nose stand. Sounds a bit tricky but will give it a go next time.
I have the same HRM. Works great. Sometimes it loses its pairing but could be a phone issue. Make sure to pair using blevo, not through phone settings.
Are you sure it didn’t get unplugged at the battery while charging? The charger light is green when unplugged. Got my friend once. Apparently the dog bumped it before fully charged. At least that’s what he’s blaming it on :p
@PaoloBLEvo
I went on a known ride of about 16 miles today and the BLEvo details are correct. However, the map of the ride stops at 9 mi and the Strava upload also shows 9, not 16. I did stop for a while at 9 mi and the bike auto turned off but I restated and continued no problem. Again, the...
From the People for Bikes link:
Does the Secretarial Order apply to the Forest Service?
No. The United States Forest Service is part of the Department of Agriculture. The Secretarial Order has no bearing on Forest Service bicycle policies or those that pertain to any other Department of...
Did you get 160mm by installing this? Is it the same as what came on the fork but 10mm more travel or is it an improved design as well? Don't think I need 160 but if it works better at the same 150 I'd be interested, maybe even go with 160.
:)
Like I mentioned in my linked-to post above, I did all that before upgrading to the Charger 2.1 RC2. The upgrade takes it to another level, more than all the fine tuning combined.:) But it is expensive and maybe not worth it to everyone.
I upgraded the damper on mine to Charger 2.1 RC2. The Revelation is essentially a Pike inside so I posted to this general thread:
Upgrading 2018 Pike to 2020 Lyric Ultimate - Is it worth it - EMTB Forums
I had enough of the teeth-chattering front end on my ‘19 Spesh Turbo Levo Comp so I upgraded the damper in the Revelation fork to a Charger 2.1 RC2. For all practical purposes it’s now a Pike Ultimate.
RockShox Charger2.1 RC2 Damper Upgrade Kit, fits 27.5"/29" Pike (B1+/2018+)
The ride is...
@PaoloBLEvo Sorry if this has been answered already but how are calories calculated? I also noticed that Strava calories are slightly different. Does Strava use the raw BLEvo data to calculate using their algorithm?
I might buy one of these local today. Just the front for now to replace the stock Butcher on my '19 Comp. Looks like you're running the EXO but my shop only has the EXO+ which is slightly heavier (50 grams) and typically more $. Yes, I can buy just about any version online but I want it now...
