I wash it gently with a hose, using a paintbrush to help with the muddy parts and the tires. I have been caught in some biblical rainstorms both riding the bike and transporting it, those are worse than washing with a hose.
I like Steve Sordys idea to sprinkle rose petals but we don't have any...
For things like this I prefer a beam-type torque wrench. Although not as accurate as some $$$ types they never lose accuracy over time (as long as they are not abused). For a low-torque model we can use various sizes of piano/music wire and calibrate with a plastic bag full of water.
The only hill around here is the bridge over the intracoastal waterway, maybe 8% and about 1/2 mile climb. My usual 27 mile ride covers sea level to a whopping 32' elevation so the 50T cog didn't see much use. 11-32 works much better on my Levo SL to keep cadence in a sweet spot.
Sometimes we get involved in an (perhaps dubious) upgrade and things start going poorly but at that point it becomes a holy war and there is no backing down. Like when I wanted a closer ratio cassette and found a nice 11-32 11 speed, after replacing the cassette, shifter, and derailleur the...
My SL will sometimes turn the chain backwards, sometimes not, sometimes only for a half rotation or so. It has done this since I got it over two years and 2200 miles ago. Maybe it is a sign of a problem, nothing seems to be wrong with it.
It depends. N*M is not power, N*M times rpm is power (watts)
35 n*m x 65 rpm = 240 w
50 n*m x 45 rpm is also 240 w. 50 n*m at any speed faster than 45 rpm is more watts = faster battery drain (and more motor heat).
I put 27.5" wheels on my Levo SL. The bottom bracket is about 19 mm lower and the trail is slightly less than with 29" wheels. I am not good enough of a rider to notice any difference in the trail and I don't ride trails where I am likely to have a pedal strike so the reduced ground clearance...
I have put many miles on RaceKings, they are a good dual purpose tire but not much use in the wet. This set has about 2000 miles on them and hardly any wear. My SL is about 40 lb, maybe 45 with water/spares/tools/food and I am about 165 lb so it is not an issue with the 2.1 width tires.

I have a spare set of 29" wheels (after changing my Levo SL to 27.5") and thought about making a set of road wheels. I didn't find many suitable tires that would fit on the wide MTB rims. Road/gravel tires open up more choices and may be a good compromise. For now I ride on Continental...
Tero may have some advantages: lighter weight; geometry more suited to dual-purpose; rear rack mounts... The Tero 3.0 saves a lot of $$ without giving up much, we don't need a 42T sprocket for most trails. I like my full suspension (Levo SL) but it isn't really needed for many trails.
Now that this thread has settled down a bit here is my take on it.
I do not like what the manufacturers are doing but they are in a difficult place: the "right to repair" movement (US and UK) is forcing them to make service information and parts available to the consumer yet the regulations...
And even if it is not bollox we still don't know what Specialized calls "100%". Most EV batteries call 100% about 85-90% of actual full charge and 0% is about actual 10-15% in order to get better life from the battery. It is likely the bike manufacturers limit their batteries in a similar manner.
Part of the SL problem is poor marketing. Advertising just the N*m rating is a mistake, it doesn't provide a good means of comparison. A casual look at the ratings would imply Rise is almost twice as powerful and almost twice as fast, yet it is nowhere near that. Levo has almost three times...
I changed my Levo SL from 29" to 27.5" wheels and 2.1 tires. It lowered the bike about 19 mm, quickened the steering and changed the trail slightly but no other changes to the geometry. I do not ride rock gardens and have had no pedal strikes or any other ground clearance issues.

I have these

and steel-toe lowcut boots but I haven't tried cycling in them yet. I mostly see rattlesnakes and cottonmouths here.
Each new design is better... for some trails and some riders, but not as good for others. Each new design is the greatest thing ever, which was what the manufacturer said about the previous design until the new one came out and the old one is now a turd. It's like on a camera forum I subscribe...
