If you have a gloss bike, you buy the gloss invisiframe. For matte, buy the matte one. It matches perfectly to my eyes.
I've seen some folks buy a mismatch (gloss invisiframe/matte bike) it looks terrible IMO. Be sure to match your finish!
Wow, I've had a completely different experience with SLX. It took a couple of return trips to my LBS, but once they got the SLX right, it's incredible. I like it better than my GX setup on my stumpy expert. I'm considering upgrading to expert, but the SRAM drivetrain and brakes is causing me...
I'm not worried about it at all. I know specialized and my LBS will take care of me should something fail. The only thing that causes a little concern would be it failing 30 miles out from the car, with 5k ft of climbing to go!
Weight also plays a HUGE role. My buddy and I did the exact same ride (jointly at the same time), I used a tiny bit less turbo than he did, but I had 35% left, he had 8%. I'm 165 pounds, he's 230. I've also done the same ride in all turbo and come back with 25%.
Too many factors involved.
