on a gloss bike I think it's a great idea...on a matte finish it looks weird because it has a different sheen.

No, I applied invisiframe right over it.

I didn't do a perfect job, but it looks great from 3 ft away!

If you have a gloss bike, you buy the gloss invisiframe. For matte, buy the matte one. It matches perfectly to my eyes.

I've seen some folks buy a mismatch (gloss invisiframe/matte bike) it looks terrible IMO. Be sure to match your finish!

XL size is good for emtb.
