Bosch CX gen 4 update, is it worth it?

I know Emtb mode is standard on my Rail, but the bike in question is my Cube Hybrid which originally had Eco, Tour, Sport and Turbo, after the latest update it has Eco, Tour+,Emtb and Turbo, I was told by the shop doing the update that I couldn't have Tour+ without Emtb mode, so that's what I...

Bosch CX gen 4 update, is it worth it?

Well, I had the update anyway... The guy at the shop said to get Tour+ as I requested, I would need to have EMTB mode installed as well, so a case of all or nothing. So, does that mean that my new Trek Rail (with latest software) has Tour+ as standard? p.s. I didn't remove the Volspeed V4, it...

Bosch CX gen 4 update, is it worth it?

I purchased a Cube Hybrid with the gen 4 CX motor during the 1st lockdown in 2020, the only software update it's had was the 85Nm update (1.1.1.0 ?) I've just purchased a Trek Rail (same motor and battery) this seems a little more lively with a more eager pickup and if anything, it's slightly...

Rail (625Wh) Trek Rail 5 trunnion pivot bolts

I'm sure this may have been covered elsewhere but I can't find the answer. Speedbox (Or similar)

Yes, more or less... I found the Speedbox 3.0 a little more user friendly.

    Speedbox (Or similar)

The countdown with the Speedbox wasn't much of an issue initially, the 1-2 minutes as I put my bike away wasn't a big deal, but as I did more commuting to work, whilst waiting at traffic lights or pedestrian crossings, the Speedbox would go into countdown mode, which meant a slight delay from...

Speedbox 3 and Bosch Gen4 after update to 1.04

I did 900 miles with a Speedbox 3.0 fitted to my gen 4 cx performance motor, no issues at all, even when it went into the bike shop for a firmware update to the new version, it showed no evidence of a tuning chip being fitted.
