I've done this one a couple of times before, but in reverse and taking the lift up! Much harder in reverse, 1450m steep climbing from my house into the next valley and then climbing up and into the ski resort of Serre Chevalier, then dropping down through the bike park which was cool before fire...
That's most likely the problem, try screwing it in until you can shift to the largest cog and then a bit more so the upper jockey wheel doesn't rub on the big cog

Hello Ken,
Unfortunately, you are not allowed to change this part on the DECOY, because an E-Bike has strict restrictions (legally) regarding the used parts and the shock components.
Thank you for your understanding.
Hmmmmmmmmmmm
Drove myself a little crazy trying to connect Steps Unlocker to my bike until I remembered I had my iPhone in my pocket as well as the android phone I've got the app on and the 2 bluetooth connections were interfering!
Just changed my Decoy to US region with the latest app upgrade without having to downgrade the firmware, sweet! 32kmh on the flat, much more reasonable, no plans to take it further, don't need to stress the motor........
On my Decoy I'm running 29 x 2.5 DHF 3C DH casing tubeless with 2.8 x 27.5 Eddy Current soft SG casing also tubeless, 18psi F&R, no burping, no wallowing and claws uphill like a velociraptor!
