I have a friend with a T-roc and his bike does go in with the front wheel off, I used to do that as well. If its not quick release you may need to get a torq-wrench to make sure you put the axle back in at the correct nm :) I have to do that with my sons bike :)

what car is it ? can you just put the bike in the rear of the car for the time been ?

To be completely honest do not go cheap with a rack for your pride and joy, I will only put my bike on a tow bar mounting rack, just for the one bike the E-scorpion is very good...

Thanks mate :) I didn't realise the cinder path from Whitby to Scarborough was part of it. I might do that Saturday or Sunday with my son :) thanks. I know there is takes opening up or tarmacking the part rom Sandsend north so that must be the other part of it which I want to do as well :)

Well the latest from Forestry England is Hamsterley is closed and will remain closed until updates again on the 8th lunch time asking or more say it was telling people to stay away.

I am on the main hamsterley groups so will keep checking, The only thing I like Facebook for is the groups :devilish:

Buy what you like, 2nd hand is great. Don't just use eBay look at Facebook and the for sale forum here. There is many bikes been sold at the moment 2nd hand and some good deals to be had. Just check the bike over fully before committing. Good Luck with the purchase :)

Is the the Jade or the Jade X ? I was looking at the Jade but wanted to see I could settle with the standard shock on the 160rs v2 but just feel like there is little life in it, maybe its me I don't know as I am not the greatest of riders etc

I agree :), But I do like the extra assistance when steep push ups are what I am hitting all day to do the DH stuff, I also have to admit I never feel guilty taking over people but always do it respectfully :)
