Been riding mine in high from the get-go, main reason was to reduce pedal strikes, which with the 155mm Miranda cranks is certainly not an issue, but also I prefer a slightly more nimble feel to the bike.....
The shock bushing sizes are 8x20 top, 8x40 bottom if that helps!
YT also told me if I fitted a different shock it would void the warranty, so I fitted a Marzocchi Bomber coil, awesome!
Hey Cyril! I'm just up the road from you in Prelles!
Seen your sign as I drive down to Gap, when all the Coronavirus is history I'll drop in and see you!
Exactly this, I'm similar weight and changed to 170mm airshaft, removed all tokens and upped the air pressure a bit, fork is now super plush, but retains the same ride height! Coupled with a Marzocchi Bomber coil shock the Decoy is transformed!
BB went up a few mm, I feel the coil shock has a bit more support in the mid-range compared to the Deluxe and have no issues with pedal strikes! I feel no need to swap the fork now, 170mm airshaft on the Yari combined with a lower leg service has transformed it!
