I have a USE suspension post on my old XC bike, only cos I won it. I always had mixed feelings about it. Lot cheaper than the Crane Creek I assume. I've had a Whyte 905 hard tail for over 3 years. 2.4" tyres running tubeless at 24psi much more comfortable, though the compliant seat stays help. Newer 905s take even bigger tyres by the way.

I had one but never actually used it .. the recommendation was, that they are good, but you need to go for the LT version.

I have an ST on my Haibike hardseven and I find it does make a fair improvement. You do need the correct adaptor for your weight. I was not impressed until I changed my adaptor for the correct one.

I bought a Spesh Stumpy Carbon hardtail a few years ago. Then my back went out and found it un rideable.

I bought a TBuster LT and loved it. The down side was a little too much travel— it forced me rearward too much. I swapped it for an ST which I have been riding for three years.

Now that my back is on the mend, the ST plus me standing more makes the package work for me, even over some rocky terrain.
