That Makita chain a aw is beautiful [emoji1786] But I bet most of you have reciprocating saws. One of those with a pruning blade can handle some pretty decent tree branches.
Is my LSS wearing out? My decoy (e8000 motor) has done an odd thing a few times recently. It cuts the power momentarily and beeps three times. No error code on display and power resumes after I stop pedalling for a moment. It's weird.
PSA: be careful how you lean.
I find the rear wheel leaned on the upper trailing quadrant and a pedal on the lower trailing quadrant to be the safest. That's cause the weight of the bike and the lean on the pedal or tire works like a parking brake and prevents the bike from rolling and...
Glad to hear that! I've got a base model with 450 miles, the chain is jumping all over the place. The chain isn't too worn, the hanger is straight and the mech is adjusted perfectly. I read of the same problem with the slx cassette in another thread. :(
I get petal strikes and bash my chain ring in high mode with the fat tire. Still going to drop to a 2.3 dh casing tire. I think my solution is going to be shorter cranks and a bash guard.
This isnt a hard concept. Strava and other GPS apps get distance and speed from... a GPS unit. The bike computer takes speed and distance data off of the wheel.
