All a matter of preference. Me, I am 62 and love my Scott 900 Tuned. Had a Levo Comp and hated it - well, more like disliked it. Really hated the SL when I had one for a day - just found it not enough of everything for me.
If I was younger and lighter perhaps, but the SL just felt wrong...
If it is bent from a hit then possibly it can be straightened but if it is warped through heat - whether dragging it or just using it too much then there is little that can be done as if you straighten it, then it will just warp under heat again.
Probably 900lm true value. Doing a test with a light meter a set of AyUp 700lm came in at 698lm. 2 sets of Gloworm X2 1500lm came in at 1485lm & 1490lm. A set of Nightrider Lumiona 1800lm came in at 1770lm. A couple sets of Magicshine 1500lm came in at around 570-580. Some newer 2000lm...
It has been my opinion that since Giant developed the Maestro suspension system of the mass produced brands they have had either the best rear suspension or close to it every year. Of course, the whole system was developed as a rip-off of Dave Weagles work. Then again, many believe Daves system...
Well, considering the sheep are sheared with elecric clippers that may be powered by a coal fired power station (or not) and usually baled in nylon based bales, transported to auction in diesel trucks, transported from auction in diesel trucks, shipped to the manufacturer mostly in diesel...
Nope, but I thought my buddy @duk916 was a proper cnut when he powered up climbs while I was puffing like Thomas the Tank Engine.
Then again, today I was n Tour and he was inEco and I could hardly keep thebastage in sight.
Even worse - I was on 9% at the end and he had close to 40% left ...
No idea sorry - was picture commenting on @Gary about 'All Mountain'. I too have no idea what it means, but would expect to be able to climb K2 or Everest if it says All Mountain.
Come to think of it - probably Mt Cook after the big landslide.
The light on the handlebars only lights where the bars are pointed. If you ride at 5kph looking at your front wheel that is probably OK, but if you ride fast you have to be able to look further ahead to sight obstacles as well as the biggie - being able to light around the corner which is where...
20 years ago we were paying $100 - $150 NZD for 15w halogen lights that would barely shine past your front wheel. My first HID light was $250 NZD and that was without the battery.
When the Magicshine and other cheap Chinese lights came on the market they were about $120 for the 900lm (claimed...
Haven't done many night rides this past winter due to my back injury but until a couple years ago used to do our club winter night race series and usually ride 2-3 times a week around the local river trail, cycle-ways and paved park trails or a couple laps of the club XC track which is less than...
