Is trail mode similar to Bosch EMTB mode?

I'm running old firmware so I can have the bike set to US region. Be interested In hearing feedback on this mode too ?

How quickly are people getting through cassettes?

Glad squirt seems popular, sounds like it was a good recommendation ?

    Sommet or decoy

Quick update. Lesuire will do it but will charge to remove and refit the motor £40 per hour and they think an hour out an hour in. They don't warranty the bike so have to charge but the motor repair is covered. Currently waiting on wiggle/Vitus to see what would happen to my warranty if I...

How quickly are people getting through cassettes?

Yes, cheers. It took me ages to find it though. Most stuff covers the road Di2. It's actually straight in the middle gear but I might try - + a bit and see if it moves the issue, but the issue was apparent on the xt cable derailure before I snapped it a few weeks back (Hence new Di2 and...

How quickly are people getting through cassettes?

Thanks everyone. I'm well short of others mileage. Cassette is clean, I clean the drivetrain after every ride. It's the only thing I do clean ? I've been using ceramic lube and researching today I've read of increased wear so that could be related but I'd still expect more mileage. I'm...

How quickly are people getting through cassettes?

I'm 500KM in and I've got gear slipping really bad on the 3 small rings. Running di2 so not cable stretch. Replaced the hanger just the other week too. Chain is stretched a bit so looking to do both together. What sort of mileage are others getting? I'd have expected a bit more. I'm not...

    2.8in Tyres on the E-Sommet?

I run a 2.8 MM up front and a 2.8 Eddy rear. Combo works well for me. Don't need to worry about climbing, so weight not an issue. Not as precise as a 2.5/2.35 but on the rough rooty stuff near me they give more confidence ploughing through.

    E8000 speed sensor

Odd indeed. I only asked as the first few rides I couldn't figure it out. Had to read the manual ??

    E8000 speed sensor

Walk mode is great on my E8000. I almost have to run with it in certain gears. Are you holding the button down when using it?

I'm trying this right now. I'll let you know how I get on ?

STUnlocker Android App for Shimano motors is available

Just to report back one click from norm to Di2. Very impressed. Great work. What settings have people used for ECO, Trail and Boost?

    Now this is impressive

Wonder what power assist mode he's in when doing this

    Sommet or decoy

Personally I wouldn't get another direct to consumer eBike. Mostly due to the motor and having to return the whole bike (At least for the Vitus) to Wiggle. Although I am currently talking with Leisure Lakes who can apparently do warranty work on the motor even if I didn't purchase via them so...

    Brake touching frame mount

Somewhere I have a wheel that's too wide then ? Cheers, I only feel like a bit of a prat for not noticing this sooner.

    Brake touching frame mount

Massive thanks for the pictures, shows me where it should be. Similar Hubs and Brakes to me too so a perfect example. That's a good spot. That rear wheel has always had those end caps and they are identical both sides and worked fine for ages, maybe I did pick up the wrong one at one point...

E8000 "bottom bracket" bearing play after 1400km

You could be on point with that theory. I jump lots, hitting big drops, jumps every ride. Doing a lot of large gaps at the moment too (Working up to a 40ft gap I want to hit). I whip it a little but nothing huge, this is about as far as I whip (If you can call it a whip :ROFLMAO::oops:) I...

E8000 "bottom bracket" bearing play after 1400km

I'll double check the exact distance later but the bike was new in Feb and has probably only covered 500Km.

E8000 "bottom bracket" bearing play after 1400km

Good to know. I'd be happy with that over sending the bike back in what can only be described as a box made from paper. Cheers.

E8000 "bottom bracket" bearing play after 1400km

The few I've tried so far do everything except a motor. Got a few more to try tomorrow. I was lucky with my Capra it never broke, thank god. I know some LBS can be frustrating too, but the specialized shops seem to be getting glowing reviews everywhere.
