Maybe - maybe not. We got a new battery back for our 18v Bosch drill at work and the new Core 4.0 Ah battery is lighter than the old one looks smaller. Waiting for the boss to bring the old battery back so I can compare. According to our propellorhead the longer, but narrower form factor allows...
More kilometres than last year, which should be easy to do if we don't get locked down again.
Actually - Frog it ..... more kilometres than last year, lockdown or not. Already passed last Januarys total so off to a good start. Put on about 3000km since I got the 900 Tuned while I was off with my...
Never believe the You will never ride again BS. Was told that about MX after an industrial accident in the 70's and in the early 90's I not only raced again, but regained my pro licence @35 years of age. A serious race accident took me off the MX bikes after again being told I would never ride...
Meh - what a bike costs is relative to SFA in the scheme of things ... heck, people actually pay a premium for electric cars that are completely impractical.
One needs to do an @Zimmerframe costs analysis ...... "How much is this sucker going to cost to repair after I throw it away on a rocky...
If that is the type of soil that turns into good, old-fashioned SoCal Blue Groove on a MX track I would go fo Maxxis Rekon. Fast rolling with a nice transition. If it is deeper loose stuff but still with a hard base then maybe Maxxis Aggressor.
Saying that, I am partial to the Schwalbe Hans...
I expect it is possibly a cse of that LBS knowing bugger all about ebikes, or not knowing how to drive the software correctly. My LBS tells me they have seen all sorts of warnings on new bikes they have just unpacked and built up, wanting to do firmware updates prior to putrting it on the...
Definitely listen to @Zimmerframe - he is on his 17th Karcher and has borked at least 4 motors by blasting the grease from the l/h crank bearing all the way through to the chain side bearing.
FFS - I can't get the thought out of my mind .... if you want a DH or jumps bike, then go buy one.
Me, I have been on a 29er since before they were common. Love them and have no wish to go back to a 26" wheel. 27.5 is just a marketing tool as most I see on 27'5 rims run 2.8 tires, which...
Haven't had an alignment problem with my eGenius.
When I got it the cover would slide a little so I removed all of the bolts andput some loctite on them. Also had the lock come loose after close to a year so out came the loctite again. Am a bit pissed these bolts weren't loctited from the...
I believe that between the rear wheel sensor, torque sensor etc it becomes obvious when running the diagnostic software. I believe that because my LBS, showed me a bike that had a speed sensor 'adjuster' on it and had some sort of issue. The owner removed the device prior to taking it in, but...
Forget the etiquette ...
1 year on the battery and 6 months on the motor is worse than useless - not to mention the 2 years frame warranty.
SB minimum 5 years on the frame and 2 years on the motor & battery. If they can't do that they aren't worth looking at.
Stan .... or Satan?
Had my mates one for 6 weeks while he was on holiday in Europe - seemed to piss down the entire time he was there so I never had a lot of fun. Also had a RG500 for a couple weeks - loved that.
A couple friends of mine in Australia have found friendly dealers that changed their system - probably firmware, to match the NZ one. Doesn't trigger any alerts as it is 'factory' approved. One of them told me he got the idea to hit a dealer up after a friend in Germany told him about having...
Be aware - when using software like volspeed that details like max powered speed & max assist are recorded on a chip inside your Bosch motor. When they run disgnostices on any issues this shows up and will void your warranty.
